DONATE TO PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN'S LIFE SAVING WORK
PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN'S LOVE FOR LIFE GALA
SAVE THE DATE: OCTOBER 23
We look forward to greeting you at our annual Love for Life Gala where we will welcome keynote speaker and abortion survivor, Claire Culwell.

When Claire met her birth mother in 2009, she was told about the attempted abortion meant to take her life and the subsequent survival of her and her twin. Claire was adopted into a loving family and says that finding out she survived an abortion never changed who she knew she was: wanted, chosen, and loved. Claire shares a hopeful message of forgiveness, redemption, and truth – exposing the humanity of the preborn baby and how abortion hurts women. Claire is an internationally known pro-life speaker and author. She lives in Austin, TX with her family.

Thank you in advance for your heroic defense of the preborn by supporting us through this event. We thank you, the babies thank you, and most importantly, “Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.” St. Matthew 25:40

Registration details to follow. Watch for updates here.

ENCOUNTERING THE TRUTH AT ARISE FAMILY DAY

Pro-Life Wisconsin was a proud sponsor of the ARISE Family Day in Menomonee Falls this last Saturday! ARISE was founded in 2017 to live and to share the joy of the Gospel in the great hope to see it bear transformative fruit in the world around us.

Easily over 300 kids of all ages encountered the pro-life message as they stopped by our table to guess the answer to our scavenger hunt question, “When does a baby’s heart start beating in the womb?” Dan Miller, our State Director helped the kids out by using the “High-Low” game, giving them a range of days to guess from. “The kids had a great time at the event and loved the twelve-week-old baby models we were handing out," said Miller. "The kids are so hungry for the truth about life. It’s so wonderful to see them interact with their parents on the life issue.”

Michele Grall, Pro-Life Wisconsin’s Development Director said, “I was so edified to see the kid’s and their parent’s passion for their faith and how it is so closely intertwined with the cause for life.” Thank you to our friends at ARISE for hosting such a fantastic event!

EDUCE PRO-LIFE LEARNING PARTNERSHIP:
FREE TO THE FIRST 30 REGISTRANTS

Summer is a perfect time to refresh "why" you’re pro-life! Did you know there is a pro-life educational course that strengthens, informs, and educates on the 100% pro-life position? Pro-Life Wisconsin is partnering with
Educe to provide the 6 session Foundations Course COMPLETELY FREE to the first 30 people who sign up ($60 value/per person).

The Foundations Course is written for upper secondary, post-secondary, and adult audiences. It is a robust curriculum in both depth and breadth. We recommend at least 11th grade, because of the basic knowledge of American history that the courses assume people have coming in, the level at which the content is written, and the subject matter itself. Visit our website here to get started.

About Educe: Educe is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with headquarters in the Minneapolis, MN area. They are the exclusive author of the Foundations pro-life curriculum, which builds the historical, philosophical, and biblical perspectives pro-life Christians need to compassionately engage the culture and defend human life, from its earliest biological beginning to its natural end. Building this solid foundation helps people bring a much deeper, broader, and biblically rooted understanding into the particular areas of pro-life ministry and outreach they feel called into.
PURCHASE YOUR CHOOSE LIFE WISCONSIN PLATE, AND SAVE LIVES FROM ABORTION!

Choose Life license plates have been available to Wisconsin motorists since late October 2017. Pro-Life Wisconsin and Wisconsin Family Council partnered to underwrite all the administrative costs of Choose Life Wisconsin, which allows us to give every penny that comes from the sale of the plates to Wisconsin’s incredible pregnancy care centers!

With 1,791 of these plates on cars in the Badger State, sales have resulted in a total of nearly $100,000 which has been granted to over twenty-five Wisconsin pregnancy resource centers in a little over two years.

If you would like to be a part of the mission to save lives, get your Choose Life Wisconsin license plate today! For more information call Pro-Life Wisconsin at 262-796-1111 ext. 110.

PRO-LIFE NEWS

STUDY FINDS ‘NO LONG TERM HEALTH OR ECONOMIC BENEFITS’ OF CONTRACEPTION IN DEVELOPING NATIONS: (Live Action News) – “Promoting birth control in developing countries has long been promoted as a means of reducing poverty rates and improving economic outcomes for women. Now, a major new study has called into question the development logic underlying these initiatives […] Instead of being the magic bullet that the Gates Foundation, UNFPA, and other organizations have claimed would cure poverty and suffering, birth control has no positive effects on women’s economic or health outcomes, and distracts from the true needs of Africans and others. The billions of dollars poured out to birth control and abortion-promoting programs would have better spent on food, clean water initiatives, and education.” Read the full story here.

REPUBLICANS DEMAND PLANNED PARENTHOOD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR “STEALING” SMALL BUSINESS FUNDS: (LifeNews.com) – “Planned Parenthood, which performs more abortions than any other entity in the country, is already taxpayer-funded, yet they somehow still get even more. The Small Business Administration (SBA) approved funds for Planned Parenthood it was not supposed to, to the tune of $80 million, in the form of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The Trump administration requested the funds back in March 2020.” Read the full story here.

FOUR PSYCHIATRISTS SPEAK OUT AGAINST ASSISTED SUICIDE: LEGAL DOESN’T MEAN ETHICAL: (Live Action News) – “When it comes to assisted suicide, some doctors are reminding us that legal doesn’t always mean ethical. In an article in Psychiatric Times titled, ‘Against Assisted Suicide,’ four psychiatrists argued that it is not ethical to help patients end their own lives, even if it is technically legal.” Read the full story here.
