Registration is open for the first-ever March for Life Wisconsin!

WHEN: Saturday, October 2, 2021
WHERE: Wisconsin State Capitol, Madison
TIME: Noon - 3:00 p.m.

Pro-Life Wisconsin will be providing buses from various Wisconsin cities (Boscobel, Green Bay, La Crosse, Appleton, Waukesha, Wausau) for just $20/rider.

At noon, we will hear from inspirational pro-life leaders and begin the march around the State Capitol. At the conclusion of the march, buses will be loaded and will head to Planned Parenthood Madison (3706 Orin Rd, Madison, WI 53704) where we will all conclude in prayer. Buses will depart to their final destinations from Planned Parenthood. Pro-Life Wisconsin signs will be available, but we encourage you to bring your own as well!

PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN ATTENDS CHICKEN BURN

Pro-Life Wisconsin joined up with hundreds of conservatives at the 52nd Annual Chicken Burn this past Sunday afternoon. Despite the early rain, hundreds showed up for the event and stopped by the Pro-Life Wisconsin booth.

The list of speakers included U.S. Senator Ron Johnson, U.S. Representative Scott Fitzgerald, U.S. Representative Bryan Steil, Former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, Kevin Nicholson of No Better Friend Corp., and many others. Pro-Life Wisconsin is thankful to have been able to meet so many passionate pro-life individuals yesterday! We hope to see you again at a Pro-Life Wisconsin event soon.

We look forward to greeting you at our annual Love for Life Gala on Saturday, October 23, where we will welcome keynote speaker and abortion survivor, Claire Culwell.

When Claire met her birth mother in 2009, she was told about the attempted abortion meant to take her life and the subsequent survival of her and her twin. Claire was adopted into a loving family and says that finding out she survived an abortion never changed who she knew she was: wanted, chosen, and loved. Claire shares a hopeful message of forgiveness, redemption, and truth – exposing the humanity of the preborn baby and how abortion hurts women. Claire is an internationally known pro-life speaker and author.

NATIONAL DAY OF REMEMBRANCE
FOR ABORTED CHILDREN

Join us on Saturday, September 18, 2021, for the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. We will gather at the gravesites of aborted babies to reflect on the lives of all those aborted and pray for an end to abortion in our state, country, and world. In 2020, the national Personhood Alliance (PA) published its official position on vaccine ethics, the culmination of two months of work by PA affiliate representatives from eight states, both Catholic and Evangelical, and independent physician reviewers including Alan B. Moy, MD, President and Scientific Director of the John Paul II Medical Research Institute. Our position was formally approved by the PA Board of Directors and subsequently by the Pro-Life Wisconsin Board of Directors. Pro-Life Wisconsin is an affiliate member of the PA.

PRO-LIFERS ARRESTED FOR DEFENSE OF UNBORN BABIES AT PHILADELPHIA ABORTION FACILITIES: (LifeSiteNews) – “This morning, pro-lifers entered two Philadelphia-area abortion facilities operated by Planned Parenthood: The Elizabeth Blackwell Health Center in Philadelphia and West Chester Surgical Center in West Chester, PA. They attempted to talk to women scheduled for abortions, and by refusing to leave the facility when told to do so by law enforcement, offered an act of non-violent defense of unborn children about to be aborted, resulting in their arrests. The Red Rose Rescues are an innovative pro-life action on behalf of women scheduled for abortions, in which pro-lifers actually go inside abortion facilities offering help to women scheduled for abortions and providing an act of practical defense for their unborn children.” Read the full story here.

ILLINOIS GOV. J.B. PRITZKER SIGNS BILL PUSHING SEX ON KIDS, PROMOTING ABORTIONS TO 12-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN: (LifeNews.com) – “Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed a pro-abortion sex education bill into law Friday, ignoring complaints from Democrats and Republicans about the explicit, ‘sexually charged’ curriculum that will be pushed on children as young as kindergarten. Breitbart reports Pritzker praised state Senate Bill 818 as an initiative that will ‘help keep our children safe.’ The new law, which goes into effect immediately, requires public schools that provide sex education to follow the National Sex Education Standards. Parents may opt out their children. The National Sex Education Standards were developed by abortion advocacy groups, including Planned Parenthood, Sister Song and Advocates for Youth.” Read the full story here.

ROE V. WADE GRANTED SPECIAL PRIVILEGES TO ABORTIONISTS: (Live Action News) – “Many believe that Roe v. Wade conferred on American women an absolute right to abortion. That’s not the case. In Roe and subsequent abortion cases, such as Planned Parenthood v. Casey, the Supreme Court in fact conferred special privileges and immunities on the abortion industry. This coming term, the Court will reconsider some of those privileges, which have no basis in law or the Constitution, and which are contrary to the equal protection of the law. The Court should require the abortion industry to explain why it deserves those privileges.” Read the full story here.

In fact, recent polling shows America is more and more convinced that things are only getting darker. Launched from St. Mary's of Pine Bluff, America will begin to gather together and adore Jesus Christ, inviting Him to make Himself fully present in our land and free it from the powers of darkness. And the local Christians of Wisconsin are committed: they will continue to gather for what they are calling Heal Our Land Holy Hours every Thursday from May 13 until October 7th. In this year of the 25th anniversary of its publication, the Holy Apostles Respect Life Committee is hosting six sessions to study and discuss this landmark document. OCTOBER 8, WAUKESHA – The Treasure Life Events, WELS Lutherans for Life’s fall fundraising events, will be Friday, October 8th at the Milwaukee Marriott West Hotel in Waukesha. A 12:00 PM Luncheon and a 6:30 PM Banquet are being offered this year. There is no cost to attend the Luncheon or the Banquet, but we do ask you to register because our tables will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. FREE childcare is available this year.
