PRO-LIFE WISCONSINITES GATHER ACROSS THE STATE TO REMEMBER ABORTED CHILDREN
This past Saturday, at locations all over the state, Wisconsinites paused to remember the lives of the preborn, taken too soon by abortion. The National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children is always a somber and sacred day. In Philips, dozens stood in pouring rain to honor the lives of the preborn. In Green Bay, over 50 people gathered in prayer. In Milwaukee, 75 faithful gathered to pray and remember the little ones in the south chapel of Holy Cross Cemetery. More gathered in Cedarburg, Dane, Steven's Point, and La Crosse.
At the Milwaukee event, Dan Miller, State Director of Pro-Life Wisconsin emceed and Father Aurelio Perez offered the opening prayer. Julie
Archibald read the scripture verse and September Schubilske led the intercessory prayers. The pro-life reflection was given by Dan Zeidler, reminding everyone of the significance of the 1,286 babies buried at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donna Brendel shared her personal experiences and led everyone in prayer for those who have lost a child to abortion. After Dan Miller led the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Father Ivan Strmecki, O.F.M. gave the final prayer and blessing. Everyone visited the graves of the aborted babies, and 13 members of the audience, chosen at random, placed 12 red roses and 1 white rose at the memorial. The sun even came out for a few minutes!
Thank you to all Pro-Life Wisconsinites around the state who gave of their time this weekend to gather in prayer for the precious preborn lives
taken by abortion. Let us continue to diligently work each day to end the atrocity of abortion and ensure life for all children.

YOU’RE INVITED TO OUR 2020 LOVE FOR LIFE GALA!
We are so excited to gather on Thursday, October 22, 2020, for our annual Love for Life Gala! At this memorable dinner, benefitting the educational and legislative efforts of Pro-Life Wisconsin, we will welcome special guest and keynote speaker, His Excellency Bishop Donald J. Hying. As our spiritual director and the Bishop of the Madison Diocese, Bishop Hying is
known throughout the state and world as a pro-life champion for his unwavering support of all human life and our religious freedoms. He brings his own profound perspective as he speaks of the sanctity of life, and most especially the preborn. You’ll hear about Pro-Life Wisconsin's life saving efforts as we highlight the accomplishments of the past year and renew our efforts to ending abortion once and for all in our state.
This year's gala will be held at the brand new Brookfield Conference Center, conveniently located right off I-94 at 325 S Moorland Rd, on the south side of the Brookfield Square Mall. Take advantage of the free parking and once inside, enjoy plenty of space to mingle with your pro-life friends - with 24,000 square feet in the
ballroom, 8,000 square feet in the atrium, and eight cash bars strategically located to accommodate you with your favorite beverage. Complimentary beer will be available during the social hour.
For your peace of mind and comfort, we have decided to use 100% of this very generous space to seat six persons to a table—lots of elbow room, unless you specify otherwise (maximum of 10 per table). If you choose to wear a mask and would prefer to be seated near others who are masked, we will do everything in our power to accommodate your needs; however, Pro-Life Wisconsin will not require our guests to be masked (unless otherwise directed by government orders). Hand sanitizer will be available upon entry and at each table as well. Babies in arms/laps/strollers are welcome and are FREE!
Please join us for an unforgettable evening!

On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law. The CARES Act increases tax deductions for charitable donations for both individuals and corporations for tax year 2020. You may wish to consider the following provisions when determining your charitable giving this year:
Individuals who do not itemize their tax deductions may take a new "above the line" charitable deduction of $300 per taxpayer ($600 for a married couple). An "above the line" deduction reduces a donor's adjusted
gross income and thereby reduces taxable income.
Individuals who do itemize may deduct donations up to 100% of their 2020 AGI, up from the previous limit of 60%.
Corporations may deduct up to 25% of taxable income, up from the previous limit of 10%.
To qualify for these special deductions, contributions must be made during tax year 2020. Payments on outstanding pledges also qualify, provided the payment is made in 2020.

PRIESTS FOR LIFE VOTER GUIDE BOILS DOWN KEY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN GOP, DEM CANDIDATES: (LifeSiteNews) – “With the November elections less than two months away, Priests for Life has prepared a nonpartisan voter guide to inform the public of the differences between Republicans and Democrats on issues such as abortion, sex education, and more. The printable, unbiased
document presents every stance as a direct quote from both parties’ official platforms, not a summary by someone favorable to either side, so it can be freely posted and distributed at churches and 501-(c)-3 organizations without threat to their tax status.” Read the full story here.
