DONATE TO PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN'S LIFE SAVING WORK
PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN MOURNS THE DEATH
OF PRO-LIFE WARRIOR, SUE THAYER

Pro-Life Wisconsin mourns the loss of Sue Thayer, a remarkable woman and beacon of light in the pro-life movement. We are grateful to have known Sue and worked alongside her in the fight to protect every preborn child. Please join us in praying for the repose of her soul and for the comfort of her family and friends.

(Live Action) – Sue Thayer, the former Iowa Planned Parenthood center manager who later became the Director of Outreach for prayer-focused pro-life group 40 Days for Life, died on December 21 after a battle with cancer. Born on March 23, 1959, she was 62 years old.

“Mom always said that God only makes good days and today is no different. Last night, Mom lost her earthly battle with a rare, aggressive form of cancer but won the final war when she woke up in the arms of our Heavenly Father,” Thayer’s daughter Kim wrote on Facebook. “She went Home on her own terms, outlasting every projection and baffling doctors along the way with her steadfastness and grace. Mom lived her few last months the same way she lived before her diagnosis – loving Jesus, loving us, loving her friends, loving her job with 40 Days for Life, and loving babies, both born and unborn.” Read more here.
YOUR YEAR-END DONATION SAVES LIVES

Please make your gift today to save more children like Marcus. All donations made through December 31, 2021, will be matched up to $85,000!

It was a gorgeous day, yet the abortion facility was exceptionally busy. Amidst the bustle of the day, I noticed a car parked directly in front of the pregnancy resource center across the street, and one of the passengers seemed to gesture, “Come here!”
When I approached, the passenger said, “We want you to talk her [Monique] out of having the abortion!”

As I went down the list of a thousand reasons why to not kill her child, I noticed Monique digging into a bag she had received from the pregnancy resource center. She pulled out a hand-knit baby hat from the bag, gasped, and then began to tear up saying, “I was going to go directly to my appointment at the abortion clinic but decided to go to the pregnancy center instead. This may sound crazy, but this little hat just reminded me of when I was here nine years ago for another abortion. A woman on the sidewalk gave me a hand-knit baby hat just like this one, and I decided to not have the abortion because of that woman’s kindness and the gift she gave me. You guys saved my baby back then. He's now nine years old, and here you are again! This is the sign I was looking for. I can’t have this abortion now. No way. You saved both my babies.”

Monique then asked if she could bring her nine-year-old son, Marcus, out to the sidewalks sometime to introduce him to the people who saved his life.

We wish you could be present with us when we meet this young man because it is YOU – your prayers and financial support – that allow us to save children like Marcus and so many others.
