HUNDREDS GATHER FOR LIFE CHAIN SUNDAY
Yesterday, the annual Life Chain event saw hundreds of pro-lifers all over the state peacefully stand on the sidewalks to raise awareness of the greatest holocaust in the history of mankind, abortion. Locals gathered with Pro-Life Wisconsin Ozaukee County affiliate in
Cedarburg as well as on West Bluemound and Hwy 100 in Milwaukee with signs in hand and prayers on their lips for an hour and a half of silent prayer, interrupted by an occasional friendly honk, thumbs up, or wave. Canon Benoit Jayr, pastor of St. Stanislaus Parish and Oratory (pictured above), greeted and thanked parishioners for standing for life.
Life Chain is just 90 minutes of public witness, but,
you can show your love for life every day by praying outside of abortion facilities during 40 Days for Life. Find the Wisconsin 40 Days for Life campaigns here.

PURCHASE YOUR CHOOSE LIFE WISCONSIN PLATE, AND SAVE LIVES FROM ABORTION!
Choose Life license plates have been available to Wisconsin motorists since late October 2017. Pro-Life Wisconsin and Wisconsin Family Council partnered to underwrite all the administrative costs of Choose Life Wisconsin, which allows us to give to give every penny that comes from the sale of the plates to Wisconsin’s incredible pregnancy care centers!
With over 1,500 of these plates on cars in the Badger State, sales have resulted in a total of nearly $100,000 which has been granted to over twenty-five Wisconsin pregnancy resource centers in a little over two years.

On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law. The CARES Act increases tax deductions for charitable donations for both individuals and corporations for tax year 2020. You may wish to consider the following provisions when determining your charitable giving this year:
Individuals who do not itemize their tax deductions may take a new "above the line" charitable deduction of $300 per taxpayer ($600 for a married couple). An "above the line" deduction reduces a donor's adjusted
gross income and thereby reduces taxable income.
Individuals who do itemize may deduct donations up to 100% of their 2020 AGI, up from the previous limit of 60%.
Corporations may deduct up to 25% of taxable income, up from the previous limit of 10%.
To qualify for these special deductions, contributions must be made during tax year 2020. Payments on outstanding pledges also qualify, provided the payment is made in 2020.
