WILL DEMANDS EXPLANATION FOR ILLEGAL GRANTS TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD

(Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty): “Attorneys at the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) issued a letter to Governor Tony Evers demanding to know the legal authority for a series of grant programs. Using two of these new programs, Governor Evers’ Department of Administration sent $2.4 million of federal COVID-19 relief funds to Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin. WILL sent the letter on behalf of Wisconsin Family Action, Wisconsin Right to Life, and Pro-Life Wisconsin.

“WILL Deputy Counsel, Lucas Vebber, said, ‘We want to know exactly what legal authority Governor Evers thinks he has to create grant programs and ignore the rulemaking process. Additionally, we want to know why he thinks he can ignore clear and explicit state law prohibitions on funding entities, like Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, that provide abortions and related services.’”

NOW THROUGH MARCH 1 – Biking for Babies is looking for young adults (ages 18-39) to join our National Ride team, helping to save and change lives through the work of our partnered pregnancy resource centers. We need 75 missionaries to partner with the 75 pregnancy resource centers that have applied with us this year. Applications are open until March 1, 2022 here.

NOW THROUGH APRIL 1 – Dismas Ministry is happy to announce the continuation of our project: “I Am Beautiful.” This is a published book that invites women with histories of abuse (whether emotional, physical or sexual) to send us their writings and art. We are preparing to publish Volume 9 of “I Am Beautiful” in the Spring of 2022. Please send us your contribution of writing and/or art for this book. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who have experienced abuse,
to share how you have overcome and survived. The book will be sent to the 90 women’s prisons across the country. Hopefully, this will give others the courage and comfort they need to heal, and live with hope and new self‐worth. We look forward to receiving your contributions. View the flyer here for more info.
