PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN PAC ENDORSES
JUDGE MARIA LAZAR FOR
WISCONSIN COURT OF APPEALS

The Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund Political Action Committee (PAC) has endorsed Judge Maria Lazar for Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District 2. Headquartered in Waukesha, District 2 covers twelve counties in the southeastern corner of Wisconsin: Calumet, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Kenosha, Manitowoc, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington, Waukesha, and Winnebago counties. The general election is scheduled for Tuesday, April 5.

A judicial conservative with a deep commitment to the rule of law, Judge Lazar will adjudicate fairly and impartially and with respect for our Constitutional freedoms. Her belief in the dignity of the human person, devotion to family and community, and fidelity to our federal and state constitutions as written make Judge Maria Lazar the only choice for pro-life voters. Pro-Life Wisconsin is proud to endorse her.

According to Judge Lazar, “We need judges on the bench that issue decisions based upon precedent and principle, not upon activism or personal bias. I base my decisions on the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and our laws to ensure that the rights of citizens remain safe and secure […] ,it is also my duty to make sure that the basic principles and freedoms enshrined in our Constitution will never be violated or infringed by the State or any person.”

Judge Lazar’s broad range of legal experience makes her an excellent candidate for Wisconsin’s appellate court. Elected in 2015 to the Waukesha County Circuit Court, Judge Lazar currently presides over the Juvenile Division and has been a presiding Judge in the Criminal Division. She was a Drug Treatment Court Judge and served for two years in the circuit court’s Civil Division. Judge Lazar also served as a Wisconsin Assistant Attorney General, in the Special Litigation and Appeals Unit. She was President of the Milwaukee Bar Association and a member of its Board of Directors. She served two terms on the State of Wisconsin’s Board of Governors. For about 20 years, her private practice centered on business litigation and bankruptcy law.

Judge Lazar graduated from Mount Mary College with high honors and earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She resides in Brookfield with her husband Tom, a nature and wildlife photographer. Both are immensely proud parents of their two talented children.

The Victory Fund PAC is urging the citizens of southeast Wisconsin to get out to the polls on Tuesday, April 5, and vote for Judge Maria Lazar for Wisconsin Court of Appeals. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for this nonpartisan race. Visit this site to learn about where you should vote, who else is on your local ballot, and for information on voting absentee if you cannot vote on Election Day.
PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN AT WCYR

This past weekend, Pro-Life Wisconsin joined the Wisconsin Catholic Youth Rally where over 1,100 middle and high school teens from across the state entered into a deeper relationship with God. The event was an excellent opportunity for us to communicate the pro-life message to many young people. The best part was seeing the students' reactions to holding and looking at the preborn baby models that show each stage of development in the womb. Teens were amazed to hear that a preborn baby's heartbeat begins at about 3 weeks! Many of them were appalled to hear that abortion is legal in our state up to 22 weeks.
While Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups are spreading lies about human dignity at such a young age at schools and community events, Pro-Life Wisconsin is sharing the truth! Our young people are desperately searching for the truth about their identity and dignity. We need to be always ready to share with them that they are beautiful children of God. We must always speak the truth that every life, no matter what stage of development, has inherent dignity and worth. Our human dignity is not circumstantial!
If you are in need of any pro-life resources or would like Pro-Life Wisconsin to visit your local school, church, or community, please email Corrie.C@ProLifeWI.org. We are here to serve!

PRO-LIFE NEWS

BUYING A BABY: THE HARMFUL OBJECTIFICATION INHERENT IN SURROGACY AND IVF: (Live Action) – The ‘right’ to have a child does not exist. Children are gifts, not possessions or commodities to be bought and sold. But the fertility and abortion industries have turned them into just that. Innocent human beings are being created and destroyed to fit the desires of adults, while being deprived of their own right to know their biological mother or father […]Studies have proven that being separated from a mother — biological or surrogate — at birth is a ‘major physiologic stressor’ for the baby, which can permanently alter the child’s brain and leave her susceptible to depression, abandonment issues, and emotional problems related to attachment, bonding, and self-esteem. Yet this fact is ignored so that adults can continue to buy the babies they want and the fertility industry can profit.” Read the full op-ed here.

PRIEST, PRO-LIFERS CHARGED WITH TRESPASSING AFTER COUNSELING WOMEN INSIDE ABORTION CENTER: (LifeSiteNews) – “Three pro-life activists, including a Catholic priest, were convicted of trespassing yesterday for handing out roses and counseling women inside an abortion mill to choose life for their preborn children. After a three-day trial, Father Christopher ‘Fidelis’ Moscinski, Matthew Connolly and William Goodman were found guilty of third-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, for a ‘Red Rose Rescue’ they carried out at All Women’s Health & Medical Services on November 27 last year. During the rescue, they aimed to save the lives of preborn babies by offering women support services in an effort to inspire them to let their babies live.” Read the full story here.

FORMER NFL STAR WITH DECADES OF PRO-LIFE, PRO-FAMILY ACTIVISM NOW RUNNING FOR LT. GOV. OF MINNESOTA: (LifeSiteNews) –“Republican gubernatorial candidate Dr. Scott Jensen has picked a pro-life, Catholic father of eight to be his running mate in the 2022 elections. The GOP primary will be held August 9, and the winner will take on Democratic-Farmer-Labor Governor Tim Walz. ‘I’m proud to announce my running mate, Matt Birk,’ Jensen, a former state senator and a critic of lockdowns, announced on March 8. ‘We are in the 4th quarter. We need a teammate who LOVES MN and wants to help it thrive.’ Birk, a former player for the Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens, is outspoken in his support for life and Biblical marriage.” Read the full story here.
