DONATE TO PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN'S LIFE SAVING WORK
PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN CALLS FOR
PRAYER, PEACE, AND SAFETY

Early Sunday morning, Pro-Life Wisconsin received news that the office of our ally, Wisconsin Family Action, had been attacked. The perpetrators set fire to the office, threw Molotov cocktails into the space, and wrote graffiti on the exterior which read, “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”

Thankfully, none of our friends at Wisconsin Family Action were present at the time of the attack. We pray for the entire staff that they may receive comfort in this unnerving time.

Julaine Appling, President of Wisconsin Family Action, commented, "This is the local manifestation of the anger and the lack of tolerance from pro-abortion people toward those of us who are pro-life.”

Violence begets violence. When we allow innocent children to be violently killed every day by abortion, it is no surprise that abortion defenders resort to violence in times like these. Those who did this must be held responsible under the law.

Dan Miller, Pro-Life Wisconsin State Director, commented, "An attack on one pro-life group is an attack on all. Pro-Life Wisconsin has worked closely with Wisconsin Family Action throughout the years, and we will continue to stand with them in these tumultuous times. Our prayers go out to Wisconsin Family Action."

The pro-life community will not be intimidated nor relent in the face of fear-mongers. We will continue to peacefully work toward the protection of all human life, no matter the threat.

We ask that you join us in praying for Wisconsin Family Action and for the safety of every pro-life individual, including our staff here at Pro-Life Wisconsin.

PRO-LIFE NEWS

MADISON POLICE INVESTIGATING ARSON, THREAT AT OFFICE OF PROMINENT ANTI-ABORTION GROUP: (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel) – “Madison police are investigating arson after a fire broke out early Sunday in the offices of a prominent anti-abortion group and a threat was spray painted on the group's building. The incident took place a week after a leaked draft of U.S. Supreme Court decision showing a majority of justices plan to vote to overturn the court's landmark 1973 ruling that legalized abortion. If that happens an 1849 law banning most abortions would go into effect in Wisconsin.” Read the full story here.

PRO-ABORTION GROUP PUBLICIZES CONSERVATIVE SUPREME COURT JUSTICES’ HOME ADDRESSES AHEAD OF PLANNED PROTESTS: (National Review) – In response to the Monday night leak of a draft Supreme Court opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, a leftist group called Ruth Sent Us posted what it claims are the home addresses of the Court’s six conservative justices online in preparation for an organized “walk-by protest” set to take place outside the justices’ homes next week. Ruth Sent Us plans to dispatch demonstrators to “the homes of the six extremist justices” on Wednesday, May 11, according to the group’s website. Read the full story here.

PRO-LIFE LAW FIRM WARNS ABORTION ACTIVISTS: WE WILL DEFEND ANY CHURCH AGAINST YOUR ‘HEINOUS’ THREATS: (LifeSiteNews) – “On May 6, 2022, Thomas More Society attorneys sent a letter to ‘Ruth Sent Us’ in response to their call for widespread disruption of church services on Mother’s Day. The Thomas More Society stands ready to take legal action to defend the rights of religious believers to the free exercise of their religion as guaranteed by the United States Constitution and federal law.” Read the full story here.
