'I TRIED TO BE A GOOD CHRISTIAN': RAPE AND INCEST SURVIVORS SAY WISCONSIN ABORTION LAW WOULD SUBJECT VICTIMS TO MORE TRAUMA: (Milwaukee Journal
Sentinel) – “After Politico published a leaked U.S. Supreme Court opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, sexual assault victims interviewed for this story described being in a state of fear and panic for others already facing the trauma of rape and incest. Without the constitutional right to an abortion enshrined in the 1973 ruling, Wisconsin would revert to a 19th-century law that prohibits all abortions, unless carrying the fetus to term is a grave risk for the pregnant person. There are no exceptions in that law for victims of rape and incest in Wisconsin […] Matt Sande, a lobbyist for Pro-Life Wisconsin, is actively working with state legislators to protect what he calls ‘the last people group that have not achieved full personhood rights.’ Sande said that while the acts of rape, incest
and sex trafficking are heinous, the unborn ‘should not be punished for the sins of the father.’ Read the full story here.
NOT SAFE: SERIOUS ABORTION PILL COMPLICATIONS EXPERIENCED BY 125 OHIO WOMEN. FIVE REQUIRED HOSPITALIZATION: (Operation Rescue) – “In the wake of the leaked opinion in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case that indicated the Supreme Court is ready to overturn Roe v. Wade, the news has been rife with reports of the planned expansion of abortion pill usage throughout the United States. Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses are scrambling to assure the public that the chemical abortion cocktail comprised of Mifepristone (formerly known as RU-486) and Misoprostol, is perfectly ‘safe,’ even without the oversight of a licensed physician. However, Operation Rescue has obtained 128 ‘Report of RU-486 Event’ forms submitted to the State Medical Board of Ohio by abortion facilities statewide that soundly refute the abortion promoters’ claims of safety. The documents detail complications from chemical abortions that were reported by all eight Ohio abortion facilities from January 2021 through April 2022.” Read the full story here.
