PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN HOSTS POST-ROE PRAYER VIGILS AND RALLIES THROUGHOUT THE STATE
Upon receiving the United States Supreme Court opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization on Friday, Pro-Life Wisconsinites gathered to commemorate the historic ruling and pray for the over 62 million children lost to abortion over the last
49 years.
Steve Karlen, Peggy Hammil, Liam Schlosser, Father Rick Heilman, Matt Sande, Dan Miller, and Anna DeMeuse shared their reflections on the momentous decision, led prayer, and encouraged those in attendance to press onward for life until every preborn child is protected from the violence of abortion.
Interested in joining fellow pro-life Wisconsinites in prayer? Join us TODAY at the prayer vigil and rally in Green Bay at 3:00 pm outside Planned Parenthood (2605 S Oneida St, Green Bay, WI 54304).

SIGN THE PETITION: DEMAND GOVERNOR EVERS AND ATTORNEY GENERAL KAUL ENFORCE WISCONSIN'S ABORTION LAW s.940.04
The Supreme Court's decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization has overturned the precedent set in Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. Read Pro-Life Wisconsin's press release here.
Now the issue of abortion has returned to the states, and it is up to our state
attorney general, Josh Kaul, and county district attorneys to enforce Wisconsin’s pre-Roe criminal abortion statute 940.04.
Attorney General Josh Kaul and Wisconsin’s district attorneys MUST immediately enforce s.940.04, and save preborn Wisconsinites from abortion.
But Attorney General Josh Kaul has already stated publicly, "Even if courts were to interpret that law as being enforceable, as attorney general I would not use the resources of the Wisconsin Department of Justice either to investigate alleged violations of that abortion ban or to prosecute alleged violations of it."
Governor Tony Evers called for a special session in both the Assembly and Senate to repeal s.940.04 and ensure the continued killing of thousands of our children by abortion.
Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm stated, "All I can say at this time is that nobody thinks it would be a good idea for police and prosecutors to get between decisions that are made between a woman and her physician."
Our leaders’ blatant refusal to enforce the rule of law is an abject failure and will sanction the continued death of innocent preborn children in our state.
Since Roe was decided in 1973, over 550,000 babies have been aborted
in Wisconsin. It’s time we stop the bloodshed.
Sign the petition to demand that our elected leaders enforce Wisconsin’s pre-Roe criminal abortion statute 940.04 immediately.

PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN URGES CONTINUED PRAYERFUL PRESENCE OUTSIDE WISCONSIN ABORTION CENTERS
Your prayerful presence is still needed outside Wisconsin abortion centers, despite Friday's Supreme Court ruling. Many once surgical abortion centers are pivoting to become abortion referral centers and contraception dispensaries. For example, this sign posted on the door of Affiliated Medical Services in Milwaukee reads, "Due to the recent Supreme Court decision, Affiliated Medical Services is no longer able to provide abortion care services. If you are in need of care, please contact Waukegan Illinois Planned Parenthood at 847-672-2237 or
Family Planning Associates in Chicago at 312-462-1846. The clinic will be open 10am-2pm Monday through Friday for follow-up appointments and to assist patients by phone."
Here in Milwaukee, we intend to continue our prayer presence and sidewalk counseling during the hours of operation, and we encourage you to do the same at your local abortion facility. Now is not the time for complacency. We must continue to work diligently to protect every human life and ensure every woman knows abortion is never the solution.

PRO-LIFE WISCONSINITES CELEBRATE THE OVERTURN OF ROE V. WADE: (WKOW/ABC Channel 27 Madison) – “Pro-Life Wisconsin held
a prayer vigil Friday evening to celebrate the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Matt Sande, Legislative Director for Pro-Life Wisconsin, says while they celebrated, they also mourned the loss of unborn children. "Repentance for the sins of abortion," Sande said. "62 million babies slain since 1973. So it's a day of definitely celebration but also of mourning." Read the full story/watch the news coverage here.
PLANNED PARENTHOOD WISCONSIN PAUSES ABORTIONS FOLLOWING SUPREME COURT RULING: (TMJ4) – "DeMeuse says her organization still has a lot of work to do, including continuing to offer women resources when faced with pregnancy. 'We have emergency housing grants to pay for rent, we will pay for food for women,' DeMeuse said. 'Whatever a woman needs to be empowered to choose life, we'll make that happen for her.'" Read the full story here.
WISCONSIN ANTI-ABORTION RIGHTS GROUPS THRILLED BUT EAGER TO SEE CRIMINAL BAN ENFORCED, EXPANDED: (Wisconsin State Journal) –
“Anti-abortion rights advocates rejoiced after the U.S. Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade Friday, but the decision striking down the constitutional guarantee to an abortion marks a new beginning to their efforts to ensure sweeping anti-abortion laws in Wisconsin remain in place, are enforced and are strengthened […] ‘The shackles of the Roe/Casey legal regime have been thrown off and now Wisconsin and every other state in our nation is free to ban abortion without exception,” Pro-Life Wisconsin legislative director Matt Sande said Friday.’” Read
the full story here.
DEMONSTRATORS ON BOTH SIDES OF ROE V. WADE RALLY AT THE CAPITOL: (WKOW/ ABC Channel 27 Madison) – "After nearly five decades the U.S. Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, which means the legality of abortion is left up to the states. Pro-life Wisconsin called this decision a victory, but a somber one. 'We obviously rejoice in this decision. But we know that this decision can't resurrect the lives of the 62 million preborn children that lost
their lives over the last 49 years,' DeMeuse said." Read the full story here.
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE FUTURE OF ABORTION IN WISCONSIN: (Wisconsin State Journal) – “The U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on Friday, ending the federally protected
right to an abortion. Here’s what you need to know about the future of abortion in Wisconsin.” Read the full story here.
