PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN VICTORY FUND PAC ANNOUNCES 2022 CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENTS
Candidate endorsements by the Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund political action committee (PAC) are now available to be viewed on the Pro-Life Wisconsin website. The Victory Fund PAC has endorsed a total of fifty-seven candidates for state office in the upcoming fall primary and general elections. Included on the endorsement page is a message on what it means to be “100% pro-life.”
“We proudly
endorse these candidates who recognize the personhood of the preborn baby and hold the principled and compassionate no-exceptions pro-life position,” said Matt Sande, director of the Victory Fund PAC. “For thirty years, Pro-Life Wisconsin has held high the banner of total protection for all preborn children. Because we insist on this high standard, more candidates for elected office are 100% pro-life. With the overturning of Roe and Casey, it is now more important than ever that we elect a total protection pro-life state legislature and a total protection pro-life governor. It will be up to them to ban abortion without exception in Wisconsin.”
Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund PAC
supports candidates for public office who demonstrate a commitment to protect preborn children – in all circumstances and at all stages of development – as full persons under the law. To be “100% pro-life” is to know that a human being begins at conception and to therefore understand that there may never be a legal exception to his or her inalienable right to life. Accordingly, it requires defending the preborn child conceived in rape, the preborn child whose mother’s life or health is perceived to be in danger, the disabled preborn baby, and the tiny embryo vulnerable to experimental research. It requires establishing legal personhood (equality of all human beings before the law) for the preborn in our state constitution.
“Our preborn brothers and sisters deserve total and permanent legal protection of their right to life,” said Sande. “As God’s image-bearers, preborn children from the moment of conception have intrinsic worth, inestimable value, and inviolable dignity. Now is the time to enshrine the personhood of each preborn child in the Wisconsin Constitution. We believe in this goal, as do our endorsed candidates.”

PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN BILLBOARD VANDALIZED
Sometime within the last week, vandals took it upon themselves to add some color to one of our billboards on northbound 41, near Allenton. The 'I AM A PERSON' message has been seen by millions of people over the years. The placement, color, and shape of the vandal's paint speak to what they really think of the preborn child – they want it to be open season on preborn children all the time.
Pro-Life Wisconsin has been fighting for the personhood rights of the preborn child since the very beginning. Dan Miller, State Director of Pro-Life Wisconsin, said, 'It's a wonderful thing that most abortion is now illegal in Wisconsin, thanks to the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade, so now we turn our sights on protecting the preborn child fully by giving them personhood status in the law. Stopping abortion is just the tip of the iceberg."
If you'd like to help us replace this billboard, please donate here.

"IT COULD HAVE BEEN ME"
Pro-lifers in West Bend responded to the 'Bans Off Our Bodies' protest this last Saturday by having a three-hour Rosary Rally instead of the normal one hour they've been doing for
the last 15 years!
Robert Dwyer, who has been organizing the group for many years, said, "I've felt compelled to do more ever since an acquaintance shared with me that she and her husband had an abortion because their child had a cleft palate I was born without one leg, and it seared my heart to do more in that one single instant. I was so happy that my parents loved me for who I was. It could have been me in any other scenario, to be aborted, because of my disability. I felt like their child and I were the same."
If you'd like to pray with Robert and his group in West Bend regularly, you can email him for the details at robertdwyer700@yahoo.com

PRO-LIFE BRIDGES DAY
Pro-Life Wisconsinites gathered on Friday, July 8 to share the message that "abortion takes a human life." National Pro-Life Bridges Day, originally scheduled for July 8, was
postponed nationally until July 29, but that didn't stop these dedicated pro-lifers from reaching thousands of motorists with the truth. Thank you to all who participated!
We hope you will join us again on Friday, July 29, in your community. If you would like to learn more about how to get involved with this event or others, contact Pro-Life Wisconsin Outreach Director, Corrie Christiaansen at Corrie.C@ProLifeWI.org.

SIGN THE PETITION: DEMAND GOVERNOR EVERS AND ATTORNEY GENERAL KAUL ENFORCE WISCONSIN'S ABORTION LAW s.940.04
Since the United States Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization on June 24, 2022, which overturned Roe and Casey, Wisconsin’s 1849 criminal abortion ban, statute 940.04, has taken full effect.
Wisconsin’s abortion providers, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and Affiliated Medical Services, are no longer performing abortions.
Yet on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul sued in Dane County Circuit Court to overturn Wisconsin’s 1849 abortion ban, arguing that s.940.04 has been superseded or impliedly repealed by Wisconsin’s post-Roe abortion
regulations and is therefore unenforceable.
It is the job of our state’s top law enforcement officer, Attorney General Kaul, to enforce laws protecting human life, not sue to overturn them. Read Pro-Life Wisconsin's full statement here.
Sign the petition to demand that our elected leaders enforce Wisconsin’s pre-Roe criminal abortion statute 940.04 immediately.

ANTIABORTION LAWMAKERS WANT TO BLOCK PATIENTS FROM CROSSING STATE LINES: (The Washington Post) – “Several national antiabortion groups and their allies in Republican-led state legislatures are advancing plans to stop people in states where abortion is banned from seeking the procedure elsewhere, according to people involved in the discussions[…]The Thomas More Society, a conservative legal organization, is drafting model legislation for state lawmakers that would allow private citizens to sue anyone who helps a resident of a state that has banned abortion from terminating a pregnancy outside of that state. The draft language will borrow from the novel legal strategy behind a Texas abortion ban enacted last year in which private citizens were empowered to enforce the law through civil litigation.” Read the full story here.
THE LIMITATIONS OF JOE BIDEN’S EXECUTIVE ORDER ON ABORTION: (Vox) – “On Friday, President Joe Biden signed an executive order dedicated to protecting abortion rights, following repeated calls from Democratic lawmakers and advocates to do so. The order,
which directs several federal agencies to take action on abortion, has been described by some legal experts and activists as an important first step, though it falls short of what many previously called for. ‘Let’s put it this way: Nothing in his executive order will fundamentally change the everyday lives of poor women in a red state,’ Georgetown University health law professor Lawrence Gostin told Vox.” Read the full story here. MICHIGAN LEGISLATORS FIGHTING COURT’S BLOCK ON ABORTION BAN: (LifeSiteNews) – “Republican politicians in Michigan have filed a request with the Court of Appeals to overturn a Michigan judge’ injunction preventing the state’s pre-Roe abortion ban from having effect. In a filing with the Michigan Court of Appeals dated July 6, 2022, Republican legislators argued that a current ban on the state’s abortion ban was ‘judicial overreach, indeed, extreme judicial overreach.’ In May, Judge Elizabeth Gleicher from the Michigan Court of Claims ruled in favor of Planned Parenthood
and blocked the state’s 1931 abortion ban, which was due to take effect upon the overturning of Roe v. Wade. The 1931 law had made it a felony to commit abortions except to save the life of the mother and banned the advertisement or sale of abortion-inducing drugs.” Read the full story here. MEDICATION ABORTION IS COMMON; HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: (AP News) – “Medication abortions became the preferred method for ending pregnancy in the U.S. even before the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. These involve taking two prescription medicines days apart — at home or in a clinic.” Read the full story here.
