WISCONSIN'S FALL PRIMARY ELECTION TOMORROW, AUGUST 9
Remember to vote in tomorrow’s fall primary election, Tuesday, August 9. Let your pro-life voice be heard! Please keep the following in mind as you vote:
- The Wisconsin fall primary is a “closed” primary, meaning you can only vote for candidates in ONE
party.
- Near the top of your ballot, you will see the option to select a party. This selection ensures that your votes will only count in the party chosen.
- Choosing a party serves as a safeguard in case you accidentally select a candidate in another party.
- If you choose to not select a party at the top of the ballot, and then cast votes for candidates in more than one party, your entire ballot will be invalidated.
Selecting a party in the primary election does not limit you in the general election in November. Please check in with voting officials at your polling place or the Wisconsin Elections Commission if you have questions.

PLW VICTORY FUND PAC CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENTS
The Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund political action committee (PAC) has announced candidate endorsements for the Fall 2022 elections. A total of fifty-seven candidates have been endorsed by the Victory Fund PAC for state office.
"We proudly endorse these candidates who recognize the personhood of the preborn baby and hold the principled and compassionate no-exceptions pro-life position," said Matt Sande, Director of the Victory Fund PAC. "For thirty years, Pro-Life Wisconsin has held high the banner of total protection for all preborn children. Because we insist on this high standard, more and more candidates for elected office are 100% pro-life. We stand behind those candidates who stand behind 100% of the babies."

PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN AT THE OZAUKEE COUNTY FAIR
Last week, the Pro-Life Wisconsin Ozaukee County Affiliate hosted a booth at the Ozaukee County Fair. Hundreds of fairgoers young and old visited the booth in support of the pro-life cause. Even a few students from our youth affiliate, PRISM (Pro-Life Students of Milwaukee) were able to visit during the weekend.
Children especially loved learning about human development through holding the fetal models, and even some women stopped to marvel at how quickly a baby develops in a mother's womb. One woman's comment upon seeing the fetal models spoke volumes. "I didn't know it was like this," she said, and then began to reveal that she in fact had an abortion years ago. We were able to share post-abortive healing resources with her and be with her in her mourning. Another woman attending the fair with her grandchild shared with us that many years ago, she
had given her child up for adoption, yet years later, had reunited and formed a relationship. Now, she enjoys the company of both her child and grandchildren. She remarked on the gift of adoption over abortion, and we couldn't agree more! We are so grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many Wisconsinites at the Ozaukee County Fair this year.

SIGN THE PETITION: DEMAND GOVERNOR EVERS AND ATTORNEY GENERAL KAUL ENFORCE WISCONSIN'S ABORTION LAW s.940.04
Since the United States Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization on June 24, 2022, which overturned Roe and Casey, Wisconsin’s 1849 criminal abortion
ban, statute 940.04, has taken full effect. Wisconsin’s abortion providers, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and Affiliated Medical Services, are no longer performing abortions.
Yet on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul sued in Dane County Circuit Court to overturn Wisconsin’s 1849 abortion ban, arguing that s.940.04 has been superseded or impliedly repealed by Wisconsin’s post-Roe abortion regulations and is therefore unenforceable.
It is the job of our state’s top law enforcement officer, Attorney General Kaul, to enforce laws protecting human life, not sue to overturn them. Read Pro-Life Wisconsin's full statement here.
Sign the petition to demand that our elected leaders enforce Wisconsin’s pre-Roe criminal abortion statute 940.04 immediately.

DONALD TRUMP ENDORSES ROBIN VOS' CHALLENGER (ADAM STEEN) IN REPUBLICAN PRIMARY: (Wisconsin Public Radio) – “Former president Donald Trump has endorsed the primary opponent for Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, R-Rochester, taking
his long-running public feud with the powerful Wisconsin Republican to a new level. In a statement released Tuesday, Trump pledged his ‘Complete and Total Endorsement’ of Adam Steen, accusing Vos of being a RINO, which stands for ‘Republican In Name Only.’ ‘Although Vos claims to be a Republican, he is constantly fighting America First efforts and policies,’ Trump said in the statement. ‘Our great slogan, Make America Great Again, is not exactly high on his list!’” Read the full story here. PLW NOTE: The Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund PAC has endorsed Adam Steen for the 63rd Assembly District)
PRO-LIFERS MUST NOT GIVE IN TO THE RADICAL LEFT AFTER KANSAS’ DISASTROUS ABORTION VOTE: (LifeSiteNews) – “The defeat of the state ballot measure about abortion in Kansas has the liberal establishment ablaze with talk about the need to take the middle route in a post-Dobbs world […] The liberal media’s message after Kansas is a demand that the left double down and the right tone down. Following their fallacious advice is a blueprint for disaster.” Read the full op-ed here.
WEST VIRGINIA REPUBLICANS TRANSFORM PRO-LIFE LEGISLATION INTO AN ‘ABORTION BILL’: (LifeSiteNews) – “In a stunning reversal in West Virginia, Republicans transformed a pro-life effort to update the state’s pre-existing pro-life laws into a move to protect abortion. ‘It is a pro-abortion bill,’ explained Caiden Caigen, President of the Family Policy Council, to LifeSiteNews’s Jim Hale. ‘How egregious this is is that we’re talking about a bill that was totally clean, that would have protected countless lives in West Virginia, and these guys totally gutted it, these Roe-Republicans totally gutted it and turned it into an abortion bill.’” Read the full story here.
INDIANA BECOMES 1ST STATE TO APPROVE ABORTION “BAN” POST ROE: (Associated Press) – “Indiana on Friday became the first state in the nation to approve abortion restrictions since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, as the Republican governor quickly signed a near-total ban on the procedure shortly after lawmakers approved it. The ban, which takes effect September 15, includes some exceptions. Abortions would be permitted in cases of rape and incest, before 10 weeks post-fertilization; to protect the life and physical health of the mother; and if a fetus is diagnosed with a lethal anomaly. Victims of rape and incest would not be required to sign a
notarized affidavit attesting to an attack, as had once been proposed.” Read the full story here.
