WELCOME TO PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, TERESA WOLFE

Pro-Life Wisconsin is elated to announce the hiring of Teresa Wolfe as our Development Director! For the past two years, Teresa served as a Campus Missionary at UW-Milwaukee through Brew City Catholic and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee where she worked in evangelization and fundraising. "I enjoy fundraising for the opportunity it gives me to connect with others and invite people into a mission," she says. "I'm excited to do that here at Pro-Life Wisconsin!"

Teresa is very passionate about her faith and about family values. The eldest in a large Catholic family, she is grateful to her parents for giving her opportunities to put her faith into action and for a pro-life education that has served her well. CHESTERTON CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS
DONATE TO WOMEN'S CARE CENTER

"A thing created is loved before it exists, as the mother can love the unborn child."
G.K. Chesterton
From July 28th-30th, Pro-Life Wisconsin was present at the 41st Annual Chesterton Conference. We shared pro-life signs, pins, and resources with hundreds of participants from around the world. On the last day of the conference, members of the Society of G.K. Chesterton board of directors approached Pro-Life Wisconsin Outreach Director, Corrie Christiaansen, expressing their desire to donate the Mass collection to support a local pregnancy resource center. Participants of the Chesterton Conference donated a total of $2,317 to the Women's Care Center of Milwaukee!
Last week, Pro-Life Wisconsin was able to present the donation to the Women's Care Center, alongside Martha Lococo, the Humanities teacher and pro-life club advisor for Chesterton Academy of Milwaukee. Her students routinely pray and witness for life on Farwell Avenue, across the street from the Women's Care Center. She was overjoyed to hear of the generosity of the Chesterton Conference participants!
Thank you to the Society of G.K. Chesterton and participants of the Chesterton Conference for your donation to support women and families in need. We look forward to more Chestertonians involved in the pro-life movement for many years to come!

SIGN THE PETITION: DEMAND GOVERNOR EVERS AND ATTORNEY GENERAL KAUL ENFORCE WISCONSIN'S ABORTION LAW s.940.04

Since the United States Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization on June 24, 2022, which overturned Roe and Casey, Wisconsin’s 1849 criminal abortion ban, statute 940.04, has taken full effect. Wisconsin’s abortion providers, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and Affiliated Medical Services, are no longer performing abortions.

Yet on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul sued in Dane County Circuit Court to overturn Wisconsin’s 1849 abortion ban, arguing that s.940.04 has been superseded or impliedly repealed by Wisconsin’s post-Roe abortion regulations and is therefore unenforceable.

It is the job of our state’s top law enforcement officer, Attorney General Kaul, to enforce laws protecting human life, not sue to overturn them. Read Pro-Life Wisconsin's full statement here.

Sign the petition to demand that our elected leaders enforce Wisconsin’s pre-Roe criminal abortion statute 940.04 immediately.

PRO-LIFE NEWS

‘DISTURBING’: EXPERTS TROUBLED BY CANADA’S EUTHANASIA LAWS: (AP News) –Tim Stainton, director of the Canadian Institute for Inclusion and Citizenship at the University of British Columbia, described Canada’s [euthanasia] law as ‘probably the biggest existential threat to disabled people since the Nazis’ program in Germany in the 1930s.’” Read the full story here.

PREGNANCY CENTERS VS. ABORTION BUSINESSES: WHO TRULY OFFERS ‘LIMITED SERVICES’? (Live Action) –Pregnancy resource centers (PRCs) have helped countless women experiencing unplanned pregnancies, providing women and their babies with diapers, clothing, car seats, housing, access to childcare, access to health care, educational opportunities, and more — free of charge. Yet abortion advocates nationally and locally — including Senator Elizabeth Warren — have increased their attacks against PRCs, claiming that the pro-life volunteers and staff at these centers lie to women and only offer ‘limited services’— and should therefore be investigated and shut down. The media bias is working to hide the truth from Americans: PRCs exist to serve families.” Read the full story here.

PRO-LIFE GROUP CALLS FOR TARGET BOYCOTT AFTER IT FUNDS ABORTION TRAVEL KILLING BABIES: (LifeNews.com) – “A leading pro-life organization is urging Americans to boycott the retail chain Target because of the company’s pro-abortion agenda. Target is one of dozens of major companies that now pays for employees to travel to abort their unborn babies in response to the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. This month, Concerned Women for America responded with a new ‘Toss Target’ campaign that encourages pro-lifers to boycott the company and seek out ethical alternatives when they shop, Faithwire reports.” Read the full story here.

IRISH CATHOLIC DIOCESE POINTS YOUTH TO ‘CONDOMS AND LUBE’ IN ‘SEXUAL HEALTH’ INITIATIVE: (LifeSiteNews) – “A Catholic diocesan youth service in Ireland is directing the children under its care towards contraceptive products provided by a pro-abortion and pro-LGBT ‘sexual health’ organization.” Read the full story here.
