PRO-LIFE NEWS

IDAHO SUPREME COURT ALLOWS STATE ABORTION “BAN” TO TAKE EFFECT: (LifeSiteNews) – “The Idaho Supreme Court ruled Friday that Idaho’s 2020 ban on most abortions may finally take effect, following the U.S. Supreme Court’s June ruling expressly affirming and restoring states’ discretion to set their own abortion policies. In 2020, Idaho adopted a ‘trigger law’ that would ban all abortions except in cases of rape, incest, or threats to a mother’s life, which would not go into effect until the nation’s highest court overturned Roe v. Wade, as happened in June’s Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Under the law, abortionists could face five years in prison and suspension of their medical licenses.” Read the full story here.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD WILL SPEND $50 MILLION ON MIDTERM ELECTIONS TO PROMOTE ABORTION: (Live Action) – “Following the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade in June, Planned Parenthood is preparing for battle, and it’s ready to use a significant war chest to influence the outcome of upcoming elections. According to the Associated Press, Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion chain, is prepared to spend $50 million before the November midterm elections. It is the abortion giant’s largest spending record, breaking the $45 million it previously spent in 2020. It will allegedly be focusing on voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, hoping to gain pro-abortion allies in government, senate, and congressional races.” Read the full story here.

WALMART WILL FUND ABORTION TRAVEL TO KILL EMPLOYEES’ BABIES IN ABORTIONS: (LifeNews.com) – “Walmart apparently supports killing its future customers and future employees in abortions. The corporation announced today that it will fund abortion travel for its employees — using its health care plan to subsidize travel for any employee who has to go more than 100 miles to get an abortion that will end the life of a unique human being. According to a CNBC report, Walmart’s health care plans will cover abortion ‘when there is a health risk to the mother, rape or incest, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage or lack of fetal viability.’ Although it appears Walmart will not cover all requests for abortion travel, the policy is inconsistent with science and medical care as treatment for ectopic pregnancies and miscarriage is not abortion and doctors have confirmed there is not really any medical reason for killing babies in abortions.” Read the full story here.

ANTI-ABORTION GROUPS ALLEGE 60 ERRORS IN MICHIGAN PROPOSAL: (Associated Press) – “An anti-abortion coalition in Michigan filed a challenge Thursday against a potential ballot initiative that seeks to enshrine abortion rights into the state’s constitution, claiming that 60 errors in the proposed amendment should disqualify it from the November ballot. The alleged 60 errors deal with spacing and result in ‘strings of gibberish,’ making the amendment ‘impossible to understand,’ the coalition said in a statement.” Read the full story here.
