NATIONAL DAY OF REMEMBRANCE FOR ABORTED CHILDREN
God waited to let the rain come down and gave us absolutely gorgeous weather this last Saturday, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee, where 1,286 aborted babies have been interred over the years. View the story of how they were recovered from the trash here.
Deacon Jim Matthias, Director of Respect Life Ministries for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, gave a moving talk about our fallen hero, Vicki Thorn, her mission at Project Rachel, and the mountain of work that lies ahead in post-abortive healing ministry because of the over 63 million abortions that have taken place in our land.
Dan Miller, State Director of Pro-Life Wisconsin said, "It's good to be here in a post-Roe world. The air is fresher, the sun is a little brighter, there is hope in the Lord, that with Him, all things are possible - even overturning Roe v. Wade." Miller encouraged the more than thirty people present to go home to their churches and begin to raise funds to put in place a memorial to our aborted preborn brothers and sisters in Christ. "Fifty years
from now, when you and I are gone from this earth, may these memorials speak beyond the grave. Let these memorials stand over time so that no one can ever say that legally permitted abortion never happened in our land."
Events were held in Milwaukee and throughout the state in Cedarburg, Madison, Green Bay, Kaukauna, Phillips, and Steven's Point (photos below).

‘NOW IS THE TIME’: CATHOLIC PRO-LIFE GROUP PETITIONS U.S. SUPREME COURT TO RECOGNIZE FETAL PERSONHOOD: (LifeSiteNews) – “Catholic pro-life advocates formally asked the U.S. Supreme Court this month to recognize the personhood of unborn babies under the U.S. Constitution. The push to recognize fetal personhood has the potential to produce a nationwide abortion ban if the Court affirms that the
unborn are persons with guaranteed rights. Catholics for Life filed the petition for a writ of certiorari with the Supreme Court on September 1, along with two expectant mothers representing their unborn babies referred to in the filing as Baby Doe and Baby Roe. In the 46-page document, the petitioners request that the Court recognize the ‘personhood’ of unborn babies under the U.S. Constitution’s Fourteenth Amendment, which ensures that no state shall ‘deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.’” Read the full story here.NATIONAL DAY OF REMEMBRANCE ON SEPTEMBER 10 WILL REMEMBER 64 MILLION BABIES KILLED IN
ABORTIONS: (LifeNews.com) – “Pro-life advocates will mark September 10 as a day of both celebration and mourning as they remember the 64 million unborn babies who were aborted under Roe v. Wade. Saturday will be the first National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe and began allowing states to protect unborn babies again. At 213 locations across the U.S., pro-lifers plan to gather at grave sites and memorials for the millions of babies who were killed as a result of the infamous 1973 ruling.” Read the full story here.ABORTION PILL STARTUP PLANS TO GIVE WOMEN PILLS TO ‘STOCKPILE’ BEFORE THEY’RE PREGNANT: (Live Action) – “A startup focusing on abortion pills wants women to stockpile them, even before they’re pregnant. Choix (pronounced “choice”) recently received $1 million from venture capitalists and is preparing to launch its business. For $289, Choix will connect women with an abortionist after filling out an online questionnaire and will then mail them the abortion pills. Currently, Choix is able to operate in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maine and New Mexico — and it doesn’t want women to wait until they’re pregnant to get the pills. All that is needed to get the abortion pills is to fill out a five-question form, and then the pills are sent within a matter of days. Women are asked to return for a telehealth appointment if they get pregnant later, but there is no mandate for them to do so. While CBS Money Watch presented this
as a positive service for women, none of the risks were presented at all.” Read the full story here.COURT RULING ALLOWS MICHIGAN VOTERS TO DECIDE ON ENSHRINING ABORTION AS ‘FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT’: (LifeSiteNews) – “Michigan’s Supreme Court approved a ballot measure Thursday to allow voters to decide whether or not to enshrine abortion as a ‘fundamental right’ in the state’s constitution in November. The decision came after the ballot petition garnered over 750,000 signatures, and just a day after a Michigan judge struck down the state’s pre- Roe 1931 law banning abortion.” Read the full story here.
