BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN VIRTUAL FUNDRAISER

Every year, Pro-Life Wisconsin partners with churches throughout the state and holds a Baby Bottle Campaign through our Helping Both: Pregnancy Support Program. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re moving the physical baby bottle campaign to a virtual baby bottle campaign. You can give online and help countless moms and their beautiful babies.

Crisis pregnancies happen all the time whether there is a pandemic or not but especially now, women need a supportive community to choose life for their preborn baby. The temptation of abortion is even greater in these difficult times. Sadly, many women are vulnerable in a crisis pregnancy to pursue an abortion.

We know that moms choose life because of the help that they receive from PLW’s Helping Both: Pregnancy Support Program. We work with local Pregnancy Resource Centers to save the life of the baby and heal the hearts of hurting moms. Helping Both fills the gap and changes lives.

We know that in this time, unemployment has affected families and limited their access to childcare, and education. It has stretched family resources and their ability to pay rent and/or their monthly bills. Our Helping Both Program fills the gap for families and gives the hope that moms in crisis pregnancies so desperately need. Your financial support means you are there for moms and their babies after birth too. Through the Helping Both Program, families have received food, gas, baby clothes, rent assistance, appliances, and financial assistance for their education. These are just a few of the ways this program has made a difference in the lives of pregnant moms in crisis.

Your generosity in this virtual baby bottle campaign provides the financial resources to continue supporting families in need. Please give generously today!

PERSONHOOD ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL POSITION ON VACCINE ETHICS

(Personhood Alliance, October 13, 2020) Last week the national board of directors of the Personhood Alliance announced its
official position on vaccine ethics. This announcement comes at a critical time, as vaccine development and other treatments for COVID-19 race forward and as new laws make it more difficult to claim moral and religious exemptions for vaccines that are produced or tested using the remains of aborted human beings.

The Personhood Alliance’s official position on vaccine ethics is a culmination of two months of committee work, which included affiliate representatives from eight states, both Catholic and evangelical, and independent physician reviewers. The committee’s recommendation was unanimously approved by the Personhood Alliance’s national board of directors.

To read our position in PDF format, click here. To read and share our press release, click here. For questions or clarification, please contact us at info@personhood.org. The most current information on unethical and ethical COVID-19 vaccine candidates can be found here.

NOTE: As a member of the Personhood Alliance (PA) Board of Directors, PLW Legislative Director Matt Sande served as a working member of the PA Vaccine Ethics Committee. Pro-Life Wisconsin is a founding member of the PA.
40 DAYS FOR LIFE

Join us in praying for an end to abortion, and sign up to participate in the 40 Days for Life Fall Vigil (September 23 - November 1)! Because of dedicated pro-lifers like you, these vigils have saved 17,226 lives from abortion worldwide, encouraged 206 abortion workers to leave the industry, and caused 107 abortion centers to close. Wisconsin locations include Appleton, Green Bay, Madison, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, and Waukesha.

Consider inviting your bishop, priest, or pastor to come pray with you! When clergy and religious join us on the sidewalks to pray, babies are saved 100% of the time! Our goal is to have one clergy member praying every day for one hour - 40 Clergy, 40 Days.
PURCHASE YOUR CHOOSE LIFE WISCONSIN PLATE, AND SAVE LIVES FROM ABORTION!

Choose Life license plates have been available to Wisconsin motorists since late October 2017. Pro-Life Wisconsin and Wisconsin Family Council partnered to underwrite all the administrative costs of Choose Life Wisconsin, which allows us to give to give every penny that comes from the sale of the plates to Wisconsin’s incredible pregnancy care centers!

With over 1,500 of these plates on cars in the Badger State, sales have resulted in a total of nearly $100,000 which has been granted to over twenty-five Wisconsin pregnancy resource centers in a little over two years.

If you would like to be a part of the mission to save lives, get your Choose Life Wisconsin license plate today! For more information call Pro-Life Wisconsin at 262-796-1111 ext. 110.

DID YOU KNOW...

On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law. The CARES Act increases tax deductions for charitable donations for both individuals and corporations for tax year 2020. You may wish to consider the following provisions when determining your charitable giving this year:

Individuals who do not itemize their tax deductions may take a new "above the line" charitable deduction of $300 per taxpayer ($600 for a married couple). An "above the line" deduction reduces a donor's adjusted gross income and thereby reduces taxable income.

Individuals who do itemize may deduct donations up to 100% of their 2020 AGI, up from the previous limit of 60%.

Corporations may deduct up to 25% of taxable income, up from the previous limit of 10%.

To qualify for these special deductions, contributions must be made during tax year 2020. Payments on outstanding pledges also qualify, provided the payment is made in 2020.

REPUBLICANS DEFEAT DEMOCRAT MOTION TO BLOCK COMMITTEE VOTE ON AMY CONEY BARRETT’S NOMINATION: (LifeNews.com) – “Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee defeated a motion by Democrats attempting to block a vote on Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination…Judge Barrett might perhaps be the most pro-life Supreme Court nominee to ever be considered for a spot on the nation’s highest court.
