DID YOU MISS THE 2020 LOVE FOR LIFE GALA?
WATCH IT ONLINE!
Did you miss our Love for Life Gala? There’s still time to watch the recorded live stream, and give online to support our life saving efforts! Watch as we honor Steve and Laura Karlen as our honorary chairpersons, Representative Joe Sanfelippo as Legislator of the Year, Marie Allen and the La Crosse Life League as Activist of the Year, and 17 Wisconsin Pregnancy Resource Centers!

Listen to our keynote speaker, Bishop Hying as he speaks of the need to pray, sacrifice, and fight for the preborn, their parents, and families. Bishop Hying also spoke on the role we all must play in fighting for the rights of the unborn, both in prayer and in the way we cast our ballots.

"When someone says to me, ‘Abortion is just one issue,’ I remind them that in the election of 1860, there was also just one issue. But that one issue was so morally imperative that it took on a superlative importance."
Give today and save a life! Your donation, big or small, allows our life saving mission to continue. Please share the livestream with your friends and family.
BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN VIRTUAL FUNDRAISER

Crisis pregnancies happen all the time whether there is a pandemic or not but especially now, women need a supportive community to choose life for their preborn baby. The temptation of abortion is even greater in these difficult times. Sadly, many women are vulnerable in a crisis pregnancy to pursue an abortion.

We know that moms choose life because of the help that they receive from PLW’s Helping Both: Pregnancy Support Program. We work with local Pregnancy Resource Centers to save the life of the baby and heal the hearts of hurting moms. Helping Both fills the gap and changes lives.

We know that in this time, unemployment has affected families and limited their access to childcare, and education. It has stretched family resources and their ability to pay rent and/or their monthly bills. Our Helping Both Program fills the gap for families and gives the hope that moms in crisis pregnancies so desperately need. Your financial support means you are there for moms and their babies after birth too. Through the Helping Both Program, families have received food, gas, baby clothes, rent assistance, appliances, and financial assistance for their education. These are just a few of the ways this program has made a difference in the lives of pregnant moms in crisis.

Your generosity in this virtual baby bottle campaign provides the financial resources to continue supporting families in need. Please give generously today!

40 DAYS FOR LIFE: JUST ONE WEEK LEFT TO JOIN US ON THE SIDEWALKS

Join us in praying for an end to abortion, and sign up to participate in the 40 Days for Life Fall Vigil (September 23 - November 1)! Because of dedicated pro-lifers like you, these vigils have saved 17,226 lives from abortion worldwide, encouraged 206 abortion workers to leave the industry, and caused 107 abortion centers to close. Wisconsin locations include Appleton, Green Bay, Madison, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, and Waukesha.

Consider inviting your bishop, priest, or pastor to come pray with you! When clergy and religious join us on the sidewalks to pray, babies are saved 100% of the time! Our goal is to have one clergy member praying every day for one hour - 40 Clergy, 40 Days.
PURCHASE YOUR CHOOSE LIFE WISCONSIN PLATE, AND SAVE LIVES FROM ABORTION!

Choose Life license plates have been available to Wisconsin motorists since late October 2017. Pro-Life Wisconsin and Wisconsin Family Council partnered to underwrite all the administrative costs of Choose Life Wisconsin, which allows us to give to give every penny that comes from the sale of the plates to Wisconsin’s incredible pregnancy care centers!

With over 1,500 of these plates on cars in the Badger State, sales have resulted in a total of nearly $100,000 which has been granted to over twenty-five Wisconsin pregnancy resource centers in a little over two years.

If you would like to be a part of the mission to save lives, get your Choose Life Wisconsin license plate today! For more information call Pro-Life Wisconsin at 262-796-1111 ext. 110.

DID YOU KNOW...

On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law. The CARES Act increases tax deductions for charitable donations for both individuals and corporations for tax year 2020. You may wish to consider the following provisions when determining your charitable giving this year:

Individuals who do not itemize their tax deductions may take a new "above the line" charitable deduction of $300 per taxpayer ($600 for a married couple). An "above the line" deduction reduces a donor's adjusted gross income and thereby reduces taxable income.

Individuals who do itemize may deduct donations up to 100% of their 2020 AGI, up from the previous limit of 60%.

Corporations may deduct up to 25% of taxable income, up from the previous limit of 10%.

To qualify for these special deductions, contributions must be made during tax year 2020. Payments on outstanding pledges also qualify, provided the payment is made in 2020.

PRO-LIFE NEWS

OPINION: I DIDN'T LEAVE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. THE PARTY LEFT ME ON THE ABORTION ISSUE: (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, by Dan Zeidler) – “I grew up a happy Democrat in a blue-collar union family. I was told and believed that the Democrats tried to help the ‘little guy.’ But it’s been a long time since I voted for a Democrat. I did not leave the Democratic Party. The party left me. The clearest sign that there is no room for me in the Democratic Party is the party’s radical enthusiasm for promoting the ‘legal’ killing of children — roughly a million babies slaughtered each year thanks to Democratic Party policies and the actions of Democratic public officials.” Read the full op-ed here.

32 NATIONS, INCLUDING US, DECLARE ‘NO INTERNATIONAL RIGHT TO ABORTION’ AT UN: (LifeSiteNews) –"The United States, in a coalition of 32 countries representing more than 1.6 billion people, today issued a declaration at the United Nations that there is ‘no international right to abortion.’ …The opening words of the declaration explain its purpose as including expressing ‘the essential priority of protecting the right to life’ and promoting ‘strength of the family and of a successful and flourishing society.’” Read the full story here.

SENATE DEFEATS DEMOCRAT FILIBUSTER OF AMY CONEY BARRETT’S NOMINATION, SETS UP MONDAY VOTE TO CONFIRM: (LifeNews.com) – “The Senate today voted for cloture to end debate on the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett. That will set up a vote late Monday to confirm her as the next associate justice on the Supreme Court, replacing the late pro-abortion Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.” Read the full story here.

MOTHER OF AEROSMITH SINGER STEVEN TYLER’S ABORTED CHILD: ‘COERCED ABORTIONS HAPPEN EVERYWHERE’: (Live Action News) – Julia Holcomb was a 16-year-old when she moved in with Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler — eight years her senior — in the 1970s, and he became her legal guardian. Months after she became pregnant, she was forced into an abortion she didn’t want — an abortion Tyler himself later came to regret.” Read the full story here.
