He has since become a pro-life advocate, speaking about the dangers of abortion. His story is filled with practical advice on what we can do to increase our effectiveness in advocating for the preborn. We hope you will join us for Dr. Levatino's compelling testimony and an unforgettable night of supporting life!
SIDEWALK COUNSELING 101
Learn how to save babies from abortion on the front lines of the battle for life! Join Dan Miller, State Director of Pro-Life Wisconsin, as he shares his story and practical tips for sidewalk counseling.

Tuesday, May 30th – 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (2020 91st Street, Kenosha, WI 53143)

Dan's re-entry into the pro-life movement came quite by "accident" - as he crushed his left leg while using heavy farm machinery in 2009. While recuperating, he reflected on the words of Saint Teresa of Calcutta - "The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion, because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing in between." Her words spoke to Dan, leading him to a profound re-version into pro-life work. Since his re-version, Dan has logged over 6,000 hours sidewalk counseling at abortion facilities since 2010. He has personally witnessed over 1,100 babies saved from abortion. One of those babies is now his godson, Joseph, who born on September 23, 2011!

You will learn the basics of how to counsel those who are contemplating abortion and how to peacefully and prayerfully win their hearts. After this training, we know you can and will save lives!

Pizza and soft drinks will be provided.

PRO-LIFE NEWS

TRUMP AGAIN REFUSES TO CLARIFY STANCE ON FEDERAL ABORTION BAN DURING HOSTILE CNN TOWN HALL: (LifeSiteNews) – “During his CNN appearance, (Donald) Trump was asked a total of seven times to clarify whether he would support a federal abortion ban. Trump later claimed that thanks to his efforts, 'we now have a great negotiating ability…Some people are at six weeks; some people are at three weeks, two weeks…it depends what the deal is. I want to do what’s right. And we’re looking.'” Read the full story here.

NIKKI HALEY: A 2024 CANDIDATE PLEDGING A FEDERAL ABORTION BAN WOULD NOT BE 'HONEST': (NBC News) – “GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Sunday declined to endorse a federal abortion ban and said that it would not be honest for a Republican to promise such an unrealistic prospect to the American people. In an interview on CBS’ ‘Face the Nation,’ Haley, who served as ambassador to the United Nations and governor of South Carolina, said, ‘For a national standard, I think we have to tell the American people the truth.’ She noted the political realities of passing federal legislation through Congress: ‘In order to do a national standard, you’d have to have a majority of the House, 60 Senate votes, and a president. We haven’t had 60 pro-life senators in 100 years. So the idea that a Republican president could ban all abortions is not being honest with the American people, any more than a Democrat president could ban these pro-life laws in the state,’ Haley said. ‘So let’s be honest with the American people and say: let’s find national consensus. Let’s agree on getting rid of late-term abortions.’” Read the full story here.

OHIO HOUSE PASSES RESOLUTION THAT COULD IMPACT ATTEMPT TO ADD ABORTION TO CONSTITUTION:
(Live Action) – “An Ohio resolution just passed by the State’s House of Representatives, which raises the threshold for constitutional amendments from a simple majority of votes to 60%, could upend a pro-abortion ballot initiative hoping to codify a right to abortion in the state.” Read the full story here.

DISABILITY ADVOCATES FILE SUIT AGAINST CALIFORNIA ‘ASSISTED SUICIDE’ LAW: (CatholicVote.org) – “A 2016 California law allowing doctors to prescribe life-ending drugs to patients is now facing a lawsuit that could have massive ramifications in the pro-life battle for patient rights. Disability rights advocates filed the suit in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California this week, alleging California’s End of Life Option Act, passed in 2016, violates the Americans with Disabilities Act and denies terminally ill patients their constitutionally-protected rights to equal protection under the law and due process. […] The lawsuit claims that under the California law, people with life-threatening disabilities are treated differently than non-disabled people when they express a desire for suicide. It claims they are sometimes denied appropriate mental health services and medical care by both physicians and insurance companies, and can be pressured into choosing suicide.” Read the full story here.
