Join us next week as Dan Miller, State Director of Pro-Life Wisconsin, shares his story and practical tips for sidewalk counseling. Learn how to save babies from abortion on the
front lines of the battle for life!
Tuesday, May 30th – 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (2020 91st Street, Kenosha, WI 53143) Dan's re-entry into the pro-life movement came quite by "accident" - as he crushed his left leg while using heavy farm machinery in 2009. While recuperating, he reflected on the words of Saint Teresa of Calcutta - "The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion, because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing in between." Her words spoke to Dan, leading him to a profound re-version into pro-life work. Since his re-version, Dan has
logged over 6,000 hours sidewalk counseling at abortion facilities since 2010. He has personally witnessed over 1,100 babies saved from abortion. One of those babies is now his godson, Joseph, who born on September 23, 2011! You will learn the basics of how to counsel those who are contemplating abortion and how to peacefully and prayerfully win their hearts. After this training, we know you can and will save lives! Pizza and soft drinks will be provided.

LAWMAKER ACCUSES SENATE LEADER OF 'SQUASHING DEBATE' ON BILL TO LOOSEN WISCONSIN'S ABORTION LAW: (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel) – “ The Republican author of a bill that would overhaul the state's abortion law says a Senate leader is ‘squashing debate’ on a bill she and a group of GOP lawmakers introduced this spring that would allow doctors to provide abortions to victims of rape and incest — a policy change most Wisconsin residents support. Sen. Mary Felzkowski and more than two dozen Republican lawmakers introduced legislation in April that would create exceptions to the state's 19th-century near-total abortion ban for pregnancies
resulting from sexual assault, incest and in situations when the mother is experiencing serious pregnancy complications. […] This week, Senate President Chris Kapenga assigned the bill to a committee led by GOP Sen. Andre Jacque, who has authored dozens of bills that would restrict abortion access including one that would bar public officials from even promoting the idea of abortion. […]Senate leaders' opposition to advancing the bill came as anti-abortion lobbying groups blasted the proposal from Felzkowski, Vos, and others. Matt Sande, Pro-Life Wisconsin Legislative Director, said in March any legislation that allows abortions ‘is incapable of being justified. A vote to add more exceptions to
Wisconsin’s abortion ban is a vote to kill more preborn babies. It is that simple,’ he said. ‘It is always and everywhere wrong, regardless of motivation or consequence. It may never be employed, even in the narrowest of circumstances, as a means to a greater end.’” Read the full story here.
FDA INCRIMINATES ITSELF IN ORAL ARGUMENTS FOR ABORTION PILL CASE: (CatholicVote) – “During oral arguments before the Fifth Circuit Court, Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
representatives only added to concerns that the agency endangered women when it approved an abortion-inducing drug in 2000. This according to the legal group Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), which is leading a suit that claims the FDA has failed to protect the health and safety of women and girls by approving the drug mifepristone despite evidence of dangerous side effects.” Read the full story here.
NORTH CAROLINA BANS ABORTION AT 12 WEEKS AFTER REPUBLICAN LAWMAKERS OVERRIDE GOVERNOR’S VETO: (LifeSiteNews) – “Republican lawmakers in North Carolina overrode the veto of Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper on Tuesday and enacted a
law that bans most abortions after 12 weeks and places new restrictions on abortion drugs and clinics. […] Though it falls short of a six-week ban pushed for by conservative lawmakers and pro-life groups this year, Senate Bill 20 contains a package of pro-life measures expected to disrupt the abortion industry in North Carolina, which has become a major abortion haven in the South since the reversal of Roe v. Wade. […] Senate Bill 20, moreover, tightens health and safety regulations for abortion facilities, requiring them to meet the same standards as ambulatory surgical centers, which
may force them to shut down if they cannot afford costly upgrades. Planned Parenthood has said that none of its six facilities in North Carolina meet the requirement. […] The law allows abortions for rape and incest up to 20 weeks, for ‘life-limiting’ fetal anomalies up to 24 weeks, and when allegedly necessary to avoid a woman’s death, though not for ‘psychological or emotional conditions.’ Medical experts have attested that abortion is never medically necessary.” Read the full story here.
