BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN VIRTUAL FUNDRAISER

Crisis pregnancies happen all the time whether there is a pandemic or not but especially now, women need a supportive community to choose life for their preborn baby. The temptation of abortion is even greater in these difficult times. Sadly, many women are vulnerable in a crisis pregnancy to pursue an abortion.

We know that moms choose life because of the help that they receive from PLW’s Helping Both: Pregnancy Support Program. We work with local Pregnancy Resource Centers to save the life of the baby and heal the hearts of hurting moms. Helping Both fills the gap and changes lives.

We know that in this time, unemployment has affected families and limited their access to childcare, and education. It has stretched family resources and their ability to pay rent and/or their monthly bills. Our Helping Both Program fills the gap for families and gives the hope that moms in crisis pregnancies so desperately need. Your financial support means you are there for moms and their babies after birth too. Through the Helping Both Program, families have received food, gas, baby clothes, rent assistance, appliances, and financial assistance for their education. These are just a few of the ways this program has made a difference in the lives of pregnant moms in crisis.

Your generosity in this virtual baby bottle campaign provides the financial resources to continue supporting families in need. Please give generously today!

PURCHASE YOUR CHOOSE LIFE WISCONSIN PLATE, AND SAVE LIVES FROM ABORTION!

Choose Life license plates have been available to Wisconsin motorists since late October 2017. With over 1,500 of these plates on cars in the Badger State, sales have resulted in a total of nearly $100,000 which has been granted to over twenty-five Wisconsin pregnancy resource centers in a little over two years.

If you would like to be a part of the mission to save lives, get your Choose Life Wisconsin license plate today! For more information call Pro-Life Wisconsin at 262-796-1111 ext. 110.

DID YOU KNOW...

On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law. The CARES Act increases tax deductions for charitable donations for both individuals and corporations for tax year 2020. You may wish to consider the following provisions when determining your charitable giving this year:

Individuals who do not itemize their tax deductions may take a new "above the line" charitable deduction of $300 per taxpayer ($600 for a married couple). An "above the line" deduction reduces a donor's adjusted gross income and thereby reduces taxable income.

Individuals who do itemize may deduct donations up to 100% of their 2020 AGI, up from the previous limit of 60%.

Corporations may deduct up to 25% of taxable income, up from the previous limit of 10%.

To qualify for these special deductions, contributions must be made during tax year 2020. Payments on outstanding pledges also qualify, provided the payment is made in 2020.

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION DEMANDS UN MAKE ‘COURSE-CORRECTION’ ON ABORTION: (LifeSiteNews) – “The Acting Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, John Barsa, has sent a scathing letter to the UN Secretary General for allowing UN experts to promote abortion. He also told him to make ‘a course-correction for the greater good of the UN…[W]e cannot stand by and watch the UN attempt to dictate a politicized agenda that gravely threatens the dignity of the human person and the human rights of the unborn, while simultaneously trampling on the sovereignty of pro-life countries,’ Barsa’s letter reads.” Read the full story here.

IVANKA TRUMP: ‘I AM PRO-LIFE, AND UNAPOLOGETICALLY SO’: (LifeSiteNews) – “Despite her father’s pro-life political positions, Ivanka Trump had been elusive on the subject of abortion until recently, when she said, ‘I am pro-life, and unapologetically so,’ in an exclusive interview with RealClearPolitics. ‘I am also a mother of three children, and parenthood affected me in a profound way in terms of how I think about these things,’ she said.” Read the full story here.

THE BISHOPS HAVE SPOKEN: ABORTION TRUMPS: (Crisis Magazine) The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
(USCCB) has been very clear in its characterization of the most important issue in this election: “The threat of abortion remains our preeminent priority.” Other issues—immigration, racism, poverty and the death penalty—are of great importance and require urgent attention, but even though they are prominent issues, abortion is preeminent among them. COURT DISMISSES FATHER’S LAWSUIT AGAINST ABORTION CLINIC FOR ABORTING HIS BABY WITHOUT HIS CONSENT: (LifeNews.com) – “An Alabama father lost a lawsuit on behalf of his unborn baby Friday at the Alabama Supreme Court.
