I AM A PERSON: NEW PRO-LIFE BILLBOARD

If you are ever in the Chilton area on Highway 151 around County Road C, you will be delighted to see our new Personhood billboard has just been put up! more photos here

Many thanks to all the Knights of Columbus councils in Calumet County for supporting this billboard. They not only do upkeep and general maintenance of the physical structure but sponsor the cost of printing two 8’x20’ billboard vinyl tarps, which get worn out by the sun about every three to five years. State Director, Dan Miller, joined his brother Knights of Columbus to help install the plastic billboard on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. We couldn’t have picked a better day to do the work. God is good, all the time!

Join us in prayer on September 9th at the following Wisconsin locations:

PRO-LIFE NEWS

‘FIGHT IS NOT OVER’: DEFENSE ATTORNEYS VOW APPEAL AFTER PRO-LIFE RESCUERS FOUND GUILTY IN DC FACE TRIAL: (LifeSiteNews) – "Defense attorneys representing several of the pro-life activists who were found guilty Tuesday of conspiracy and violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act have vowed to appeal the ‘outrageous’ decision, telling LifeSiteNews ‘the fight is not over.’ As LifeSiteNews has extensively reported, five anti-abortion activists – Lauren Handy, John Hinshaw, William Goodman, Heather Idoni, and Herb Geraghty – have stood trial over the past week for blocking access to the Washington Surgi-Clinic in downtown Washington, D.C., in a ‘traditional rescue’ in October 2020. Pro-life ‘rescues’ involve activists physically intervening to try to stop women from going through with abortions. On Tuesday, a Washington, D.C. jury found the five pro-life activists guilty of conspiracy against rights and violating the FACE Act, LifeSiteNews reported at the time. All five were immediately incarcerated following the verdict because their actions to physically block the abortuary were considered a ‘crime of violence.’ The activists could face more than a decade in prison for their efforts to prevent women from killing their preborn babies." PRO-LIFE AFTER DOBBS: OHIO, ISSUE 1, AND THE WORLDVIEW WORK AHEAD: (Breakpoint, Colson Center) – "A few weeks ago, voters in Ohio rejected a ballot measure that would have made it harder to amend the state’s constitution. As it stands, to amend Ohio’s constitution only requires 50% of the vote plus one. Issue 1 would have raised that threshold to 60%. The turnout for this vote was unexpectedly high for what appeared to be a procedural change. It was the only issue on the ballot. However, this vote was not merely about a procedure. It was also about abortion. In November, abortion advocates will put forth a proposal to enshrine the ‘right’ to an abortion in Ohio’s constitution, with no restrictions on the age of the baby or the mother. Had Issue 1 succeeded in Ohio, this new amendment would have been much more difficult to pass. In other words, Issue 1 was the latest chapter in the story of abortion in post-Dobbs America." Read the full op-ed here.

AT-HOME ABORTION PILL USE IN COLORADO JUMPS TO 3X NATIONAL AVERAGE: (Live Action) – "Recent data reported by Axios shows that Colorado now leads the nation in telehealth abortions, with the number of abortions nearly three times the national average. The report shows that virtual abortion appointments for the abortion pill reached 20% in March of this year, up from 14% in April 2022. Abortion advocates are praising the news that abortion numbers are rising. ‘This is just such a convenient option for people. It’s very private and confidential, and it really gives you the opportunity to control what happens during your abortion,’ Plan C co-director Elisa Wells told Axios Denver. Despite this narrative, virtual abortions are not as safe as they are portrayed to be. Telehealth abortion allows the pregnant woman to receive the abortion pill without any face-to-face interaction with a medical provider, greatly increasing her risk of complications. Through the ‘no-test’ protocol, an abortionist will give a woman the abortion pill without using a blood test or ultrasound to verify the baby’s gestational age, confirm that the mother doesn’t have an extrauterine (ectopic) pregnancy, or ensure that she doesn’t have any potential contraindications of the abortion pill."
