SENATE PUBLIC HEARING TOMORROW ON “EMBRACE THEM BOTH” AND “TAXPAYER ABORTION SUBSIDY PREVENTION ACT”

State Sen. Romaine Quinn (R-Cameron) and State Reps. Gae Magnafici (R-Dresser), Amanda Nedweski (R-Pleasant Prairie), Donna Rozar (R-Marshfield), and Patrick Snyder (R-Schofield) have introduced a comprehensive bill package, entitled Embrace Them Both, that protects and supports pregnant mothers and their preborn children. State Sen. Andre Jacque (R-De Pere) and State Rep. Elijah Behnke (R-Oconto) have introduced legislation, entitled the Taxpayer Abortion Subsidy Prevention Act, that would prohibit the use of public employees and public property for activities relating to abortion.

The Senate Committee on Licensing, Constitution and Federalism, chaired by Sen. Jacque, will hold a public hearing tomorrow on the Embrace Them Both legislation, comprised of Senate Bills 343, 344, 345, & 346, as well as on the Taxpayer Abortion Subsidy Prevention Act, Senate Bill 300. Specifically, the hearing will be held in Room 411 South of the State Capitol Building at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD WILL KILL BABIES IN WISCONSIN EVEN THOUGH COURT HASN’T RULED ABORTIONS LEGAL: (LifeNews.com) – “America’s biggest abortion business can’t wait to resume killing babies in Wisconsin. Even though the state Supreme Court has not yet overturned a pro-life law protecting babies from abortions, the abortion giant announced today that it will kill babies starting on Monday. This summer, a Dane County judge ruled that the 1849 law protecting babies rom abortions can’t be allowed to stand under the state constitution. The case is pending at the state’s highest court, but Planned Parenthood is in a hurry to make money from abortions. Dan Miller, Pro-Life Wisconsin State Director, offered the following comments: ‘Abortion is not health care. It is the direct, intentional killing of a living pre-born human being and is currently outlawed in Wisconsin. The Dane County Circuit Court has not ruled that our current law abortion ban, state statute 940.04, is unenforceable nor has it placed an injunction on it. BISHOP CONDEMNS PLANNED PARENTHOOD’S DECISION TO RESUME ABORTIONS IN WISCONSIN: ‘TRAVESTY OF JUSTICE’: (LifeSiteNews) – “Following an announcement from Planned Parenthood that it will resume abortions in Wisconsin next week, the head of the Diocese of Madison lamented the decision as ‘a travesty of justice.’ On Thursday, the abortion giant released a statement sharing plans to restart abortions at two facilities, one in Madison and one in Milwaukee. The abortion centers had previously stopped killing the unborn due to the historic overturning of Roe v. Wade in June 2022 amid ongoing litigation.
