AMA REMAINS OPPOSED TO ASSISTED SUICIDE AFTER PROPOSALS TO CHANGE POLICY FAIL AT ANNUAL MEETING: (LifeSiteNews.com) – “The American Medical Association (AMA) has rejected proposals to drop its opposition to physician-assisted suicide, indicating there is at least one line the establishment left-wing health body is not yet willing to cross. This weekend saw the annual interim meeting of AMA’s House of Delegates to consider an array of proposed policy changes, among
them two resolutions that would have had the AMA formally endorse or adopt a position of neutrality on the subject, respectively. Both would have also changed the practice’s terminology from ‘Physician-Assisted Suicide’ to ‘Medical Aid in Dying.’ Alex Schadenberg, Executive Director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition (EPC), reported that both resolutions were rejected, thanks in part to the ‘many medical professionals who responded to the alert’ sounded by groups like EPC last month ‘and worked to defeat Resolutions 4 and 5.’” Read the full story here.
LIVE ACTION'S LILA ROSE SLAMS 'BRUTAL REALITY OF ABORTION' IN ADDRESS TO UNITED NATIONS: (LifeSiteNews.com) – “The president of prominent pro-life organization Live Action on Friday urged the United Nations to recognize that the murder of unborn children is ‘a contradiction of every human right.’ She called on the global body to pass a resolution
to end abortion worldwide. Live Action founder and president Lila Rose made the comments during the United Nations Transatlantic Summit in New York on Friday. […] ‘Abortion not only violates the unborn child’s right to life’ but ‘also violates the child’s right to be free from slavery and their right to be free from torture,’ Rose stated, since abortion, particularly dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures, involves an ‘excruciating, torturous killing.’ The reality of abortion, Rose said, violates key components of the U.N.’s declaration and effectively renders the document meaningless. ‘Abortion, at its core, is a contradiction of every human right,’ she said.” Read the full story
here.
WHY THERE CAN BE NO ‘MIDDLE GROUND’ ON INTENTIONALLY KILLING INNOCENT HUMAN BEINGS: (Live Action) – “On November 12, 2023, Dr. Tim Johnson, a Protestant minister and the former medical editor at ABC News, published an opinion piece for CBS News in which he promotes what he describes as a ‘compromise’ and a ‘middle-ground’ position on the issue of abortion. It is riddled with logical
inconsistencies and factual inaccuracies.” Read the full story here. (WARNING: Images of abortion victims)
