WALGREENS, CVS TO BEGIN SELLING ABORTION PILL MIFEPRISTONE IN SOME STATES:
(The Washington Post) – "Walgreens and CVS said they will start filling prescriptions for the abortion pill mifepristone in states where it is legally allowed, stepping into the culturally divisive battle over reproductive rights weeks before the Supreme Court is set to consider access to medication abortion. [...] The move by two of the nation’s largest pharmacy networks promises to expand the availability of the drug, which is the subject of litigation over whether the FDA properly approved it. The Supreme Court will hear arguments in the case this month."

U.S. CATHOLIC BISHOPS URGE SENATE TO REJECT RADICAL DEMOCRAT BILL ON IVF,
CLONING: (LifeSiteNews) –
"The U.S. bishops’ conference has issued a letter to the United States Senate calling on senators to oppose and reject the so-called 'Access to Family Building Act' (AFBA). The bill would create a 'right' under federal law to in vitro fertilization (IVF), which the bishops condemned as being 'built on millions of children who are created to be destroyed or abandoned,' [...] Expressing their compassion for couples facing the difficulty of infertility, the bishops insisted that 'the solution, however, can never be a medical process that involves the creation of countless preborn children and results in most of them being frozen or discarded and destroyed.'”

JAPAN’S PRIME MINISTER CALLS FALLING BIRTH RATE ‘THE GRAVEST CRISIS OUR COUNTRY FACES’:(Live Action)

"Recent government data shows that the birth rate in Japan has plummeted to its lowest level, with some experts warning that the country could see a 30% decline in population by 2070. According to the numbers, births in 2023 fell 5.1% from a year earlier to 758,631, while the number of marriages decreased 5.9% to 489,281, marking the first time in 90 years the number fell below 500,000. If you can commit to this weekly prayer, please let Marie Allen know. We encourage people to pray in groups of two if possible.
