ALABAMA GOVERNOR SIGNS IVF BILL TO GIVE DOCTORS ‘DANGEROUS’ CIVIL AND CRIMINAL IMMUNITY:
(Live Action) –
“Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed a bill into law on Wednesday that gives civil and criminal immunity to in vitro fertilization doctors should they damage or destroy embryos, even without parental consent. The new law came quickly on the heels of a legal case regarding embryos that were destroyed when a client managed to access the storage area of a fertility clinic.[…] Interestingly, the law admits that the destruction of embryos is equivalent to the ‘death’ of those embryos, which means, that legislators admit human embryos are alive before they are destroyed. […] Live Action president and founder Lila Rose responded to the news in a press release, noting: ‘Politicians cannot call themselves pro-life,
affirm the truth that human life begins at the moment of fertilization, and then enact laws that allow the callous killing of these preborn children simply because they were created through IVF.’"

CALIFORNIA BILL WILL EXPAND LAW FROM ASSISTED SUICIDE TO EUTHANASIA AND MORE: (Euthanasia Prevention Coalition) – “California Senator Catherine Blakespear (D) has sponsored the most extreme assisted suicide expansion bill in America by introducing Senate Bill 1196. SB 1196 will expand the California assisted suicide law by: 1) Changing the criteria from terminally ill (6 month prognosis) to the Canadian model: ‘a grievous and irremediable medical condition” meaning No time limit; 2) Allow people with early to mid-stage dementia to consent to assisted suicide/euthanasia; even though they have a condition that impairs their capacity to consent; 3) Allow euthanasia – by IV, as in Canada. Currently, California permits assisted suicide (lethal poison that a person takes orally at the time and place of their own choosing,
with or without witnesses); 4) Remove the California residency requirement. This would allow California to join Oregon and Vermont, which dropped their residency requirements and now allow suicide tourism; 5) Remove the 48-hour waiting period between first and second request by the patient. Same day death; and 6) The California assisted suicide law is scheduled to sunset in 2031. This bill proposes to remove the sunset date.”

REPORT RAISES ‘SERIOUS CONCERN’ ABOUT CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES’ TIES TO CONTRACEPTION,
ABORTION:

“According to a newly released report by the Lepanto Institute and the Population Research Institute, Catholic Relief Services has promoted contraception through the use of condoms as well as gravely sinful sexual activity such as masturbation and has been shown to refer young girls to abortion providers. The head of the African Bishops’ Communications Committee alerted the African bishops that the activities of Catholic Relief Services (CRS) constitute a grave departure from Catholic teaching on sexual morality and the sanctity of life in response to the report, which included an in-person investigation on the ground at the African offices and sites of CRS and their collaborators. These findings have been detailed in the lengthy 120-page report of the Lepanto Institute and Population Research Institute,
