Having worked in senior living for nearly five years, Leona deeply understands the inherent value of life from the moment of conception until natural death. Leona recently graduated from Carroll University in Waukesha, where she gained a deeper understanding of the human person, taking courses in Developmental Psychology and Ethical Philosophy. Leona's educational background, as well as her work experience as an administrative assistant coupled with her love of both babies (unborn and born) and the elderly, have led her into our organization in the role of Operations Coordinator. Leona is a life-long resident of the Milwaukee area. Welcome,

“As the 2024 U.S. presidential election heats up, a Wisconsin bishop is calling on President Joe Biden to consider ‘the dignity of life’ while other Wisconsin Catholics are also voicing their support for the pro-life cause.‘Our goal is certainly that every one of our parishes has people equipped, informed to receive, to welcome, to accompany, and to really practically help both women and men that find themselves in crisis pregnancy or crisis parenthood,’ Bishop Donald Hying of Madison, Wisconsin, told EWTN News correspondent Owen Jensen. […] Wisconsin pro-life advocates are awaiting a state court decision on an 1849 abortion law protecting unborn children. PEACEFUL PRO-LIFE FATHER PAUL VAUGHN AVOIDS PRISON TIME AFTER AGGRESSIVE BIDEN DOJ PROSECUTION: (Thomas More Society) – “Today, pro-life advocate and father Paul Vaughn was formally sentenced to
three years of supervised release—avoiding prison time for his peaceful witness in defense of life, despite zealous prosecution and conviction by the Biden Department of Justice. Thomas More Society attorneys are now preparing to proceed with an appeal on behalf of Vaughn, which will seek to overturn his conviction and challenge the constitutionality of the FACE (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances) Act. Paul Vaughn said, ‘We rejoice in God’s plans. Because this is at the heart a spiritual battle, we are thankful to have a strong advocate in the Thomas More Society. Not only are they experts at law, but they deeply understand the spiritual battle raging across our land. We will appeal to have this unlawful use of the law overturned.’”

WHICH STATES COULD HAVE ABORTION ON THE BALLOT IN 2024? ARKANSAS ORGANIZERS AIM TO JOIN THE LIST: (AP News) – “Organizers of an effort to scale back Arkansas' abortion ban said they have more than
enough signatures to try to put their proposal before voters in November's election. Arkansans for Limited Government submitted petitions saying they turned in more than the 90,704 signatures from registered voters needed to qualify. Election officials now must begin checking the validity of the signatures. The submission brings to six the number of states where election officials are validating signatures on abortion measures. They’re already on the ballot in another five, plus a proposed amendment in New York that would bar discrimination based on ‘pregnancy outcomes.’ Supporters of other abortion measures in Arizona and Nebraska submitted petitions in their respective states on Wednesday.”

Sidewalk counselors reported one baby saved from abortion early last week, and no babies were killed Thursday or Friday in Milwaukee with the 4th of July holiday!
State Director Dan Miller commented: "The babies were granted independence from abortion last week. When abortion centers are closed, babies live!"
