PLANNED PARENTHOOD REPORT INDICATES RECORD ABORTION NUMBERS

Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. published its’ 2019-2020 Annual Report last week which indicated both a rise in abortions and taxpayer funding.

ABORTION
The report shows a nearly 3% increase in abortion procedures over the last year, which resulted in an additional 9,199 babies killed at the hands of the abortion giant for a total of 354,871 in the reporting year. This abortion rate translates to one child dying at Planned Parenthood every 89 seconds. CONTRACEPTION
Contraception distribution also increased – 9,497 more individuals received some form of contraception since the prior year. Pro-Life Wisconsin opposes all forms of artificial birth control because it perpetuates the contraceptive mentality which views pregnancy as a disease state against which women must be protected at all cost. In turn, abortion simply becomes backup contraception, leading to the continued increase in innocent lives lost. Learn more here.

PRENATAL SERVICES & ADOPTION REFERRALS
Planned Parenthood’s report showed not only an increase in abortion and contraception but a drastic decrease in prenatal services and adoption referrals. Prenatal services experienced a 12% decrease which translated to Planned Parenthood committing 41 abortions for every one prenatal service. Adoption referrals also saw an alarming 37% decrease, meaning Planned Parenthood commits 133 abortions for every one adoption referral. TAXPAYER FUNDING
Taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood increased from $616.8 million in 2018-2019 to $618.1 million in 2019-2020. This increase averages to nearly $1.7 million taxpayer dollars funding Planned Parenthood each day.

BABIES WERE ABORTED ALIVE, PLACED IN FRIDGE TO HARVEST CELL LINES USED IN SOME VACCINES: RESEARCHER: (LifeSiteNews) – “Cell lines derived from aborted babies used in the production or testing of various vaccines, including a number of COVID vaccines, most likely came from babies who were aborted alive, and according to the general practice as outlined in medical literature, may have been placed in a fridge while still living where they awaited dismemberment before having their organs harvested, a researcher has found.” Read the full story here.

SCHNEIDER CALLS FOR ‘NEW PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT’ TO PROTEST ‘ABORTION-TAINTED’ MEDICINES LIKE COVID VACCINE: (LifeSiteNews) – “An outspokenly pro-life Catholic bishop is calling for the formation of a ‘new pro-life movement’ that refuses to have anything to do with medicines or vaccines derived in one way or another from aborted babies […] Bishop Schneider said that until now, the pro-life movement has been ‘very meritorious’ in raising a united voice against abortion. ‘But I think there now comes a new time, a new phase, a new period of all pro-life movements to protest, clearly and unambiguously, against abortion-tainted medicines, against the abuse of the body parts of the unborn […] This is a new phase, and we have to be courageous.’” Read the full story here.

FEBRUARY 25 – COLLEGE STUDENTS: Join Dan Miller and Anna DeMeuse for "Sidewalk Counseling 101 - Save Lives" at the UW-Milwaukee Newman Center.

Sidewalk Counseling 101 is the first training session of our Save Lives program which prepares participants to stand up for the most vulnerable in our society by speaking directly to mothers and fathers outside of abortion facilities. But whether you're praying outside the abortion facility or chatting with a friend, we will cover how to handle the subject of abortion and encourage abortion-minded men and women to choose life.
