HONOR WISCONSIN'S PRO-LIFE HEROES
Join us on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the Pavilion Exhibit Hall at the Washington County Fair Park and Conference Center (3000 County Hwy PV, West Bend, WI 53095) for the 2021 Living Courage Awards Dinner. The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Hear an inspiring address from our keynote speaker, Steve Karlen, 40 Days for Life Campaign Director, and get a copy of
his latest book, This is When We Begin to Fight. Honor our 2021 Activist of the Year, Gwen Finnegan of Madison Vigil for Life, and 2021 Legislator of the Year, Representative Chuck Wichgers for their outstanding efforts to defend the preborn in Wisconsin.
Gwen Finnegan has served as the Volunteer Director of Vigil for Life-Madison since January 2014. She, alongside Matt Sande of Pro-Life Wisconsin (PLW) and Matt Bowman of Alliance Defending Freedom, led the fight against the Madison City Council Buffer Zone Ordinance (2014) which attempted to restrict pro-life outreach outside of Planned Parenthood in Madison. Gwen presented testimony at many different city
council meetings and brought forth a lawsuit against the Madison City Council, which resulted in a victory for Vigil for Life-Madison.
Gwen has led Madison’s 365 for Life campaigns and eight 40 Days for Life campaigns. She is involved politically at the state capitol and has presented testimony on a number of pro-life bills in conjunction with PLW. Her pro-life motivation comes from a heart that breaks daily for the babies whose lives have been snuffed out by abortion, the countless individuals affected by abortion, and her deep faith in God.
Chuck Wichgers grew up in Muskego and currently resides there with Michelle, his wife of 24 years. Together, they have eight children and one grandchild. His professional career spans over 20 years with experience in sales, management, and entrepreneurship. As a business owner in the health care field, he worked with companies across the industry on conservative solutions for pain management in an effort to
mitigate the growing problem of opioid abuse.
Chuck is a staunch supporter of the right to life and believes in protecting human life at all levels from the not yet born, those with special needs, to the eldest among us. Faith, family, protection of inalienable rights, and service to his community is part of who he is as a man and what he brings to the table as a legislator.
We hope you will join us for an evening celebrating Wisconsin's pro-life heroes! RSVP before April 5, 2021 to reserve your seat.

PURCHASE YOUR CHOOSE LIFE WISCONSIN PLATE, AND SAVE LIVES FROM ABORTION!
Choose Life license plates have been available to Wisconsin motorists since late October 2017. Pro-Life Wisconsin and Wisconsin Family Council partnered to underwrite all the administrative costs of Choose Life Wisconsin, which allows us to give to give every penny that comes from the sale of the plates to Wisconsin’s incredible pregnancy care centers!
With 1,791 of these plates on cars in the Badger State, sales have resulted in a total of nearly $100,000 which has been granted to over twenty-five Wisconsin pregnancy resource centers in a little over two years.

SENATE DEMOCRATS PUSH ‘EQUALITY ACT’ THAT WOULD FORCE CHRISTIANS TO FUND ABORTIONS: (Lifenews.com) – “Democrats in the U.S. Senate are moving forward with
the deceptively-named Equality Act, a bill that would jeopardize protections for women, unborn babies and millions of religious Americans […] leading pro-life and conservative groups warned that the legislation would create a ‘right to demand an abortion.’ As a result, medical workers could be forced to help abort unborn babies or lose their jobs, and taxpayers could be forced to fund their deaths.” Read the full story here.
BIDEN INSTRUCTS HHS TO UNDO TRUMP ADMINISTRATION’S TITLE X ‘PROTECT LIFE RULE’: (Live Action News) – “During his bid for office, Joe Biden vowed to fully fund Planned Parenthood despite the corporation’s numerous abuses and fraud, which should disqualify them from taxpayer funding. Now, the
president is moving swiftly to keep his promise. In January, President Biden issued an executive order instructing the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to review President Trump’s 2019 Protect Life Rule which blocked facilities that received federal Title X family planning funds from providing or referring for abortion.” Read the full story here.
SCIENTISTS SEEK TO ABOLISH ‘14-DAY RULE,’ PLAN TO DO STEM CELL RESEARCH ON OLDER EMBRYOS: (LifeSiteNews) – “An international body of scientists representing the stem cell research community plans to lift the current ‘ethical’ ruling that embryos can only be grown for up to 14 days for the purposes of stem cell research, allowing human embryos to be cultured indefinitely.” Read the full story here.
