GOOD FRIDAY STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Thank you to all who joined us in Madison and Milwaukee for the Pro-Life Stations of the Cross on Good Friday. Nearly 150 Wisconsinites gathered in the two cities to enter into the Lord's passion and witness outside of the local abortion facilities – Planned Parenthood on Orin Road in Madison and Affiliated Medical Services in Milwaukee.

Participants prayed The Way of the Cross, The Chaplet of the Holy Face of Jesus, and sang hymns. Some of the best news we have to deliver to you is that Affiliated Medical Services in Milwaukee was closed on Good Friday AND Holy Saturday! No babies died at that facility on Good Friday or on Holy Saturday! And their numbers were way down all last week – praise the Risen Christ! There was even a turn-around on Saturday!

Thank you to all of those who continually pray for an end to abortion. May God bless you for your prayers and sacrifice!

Pro-Life Wisconsin's Never a Burden program equips adults with educational resources to make informed decisions on medical options surrounding end of life and other medically vulnerable situations. RESEARCHER GREW MOUSE EMBRYOS IN ARTIFICIAL WOMB AND HOPES HUMANS WILL BE NEXT: (Live Action News) – “According to an MIT Technology Review commentary on a research article published in the journal Nature, researchers at Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel successfully grew 1,000 mouse embryos in an artificial womb up to 12 days gestation, or roughly halfway through a typical mouse pregnancy […] In response to the Nature article, EWTN Pro-Life-Weekly interviewed Dr. David Prentice, vice president and research director of the Charlotte Lozier Institute, about the many ethical concerns that accompany the push to grow human embryos in an artificial womb purely for experimental purposes.” Read the full story here.

GREEN BAY: Pro-Life Green Bay will host a Ladies for Life Tea Fundraiser on Saturday, May 8th at 1:00 p.m. at Life Bridge Christian Church (2496 Glendale Ave, Green Bay, WI 54313). LA CROSSE: We would like to see at least two people pray every day of the week outside Planned Parenthood. If you can commit to this weekly prayer, please let Marie Allen know.
