As April showers are upon us, encourage students you know to use their time wisely and create a work of art for our fourth annual Prayer Card Art Contest! If you or someone you know in grades 1-12 loves painting, drawing, photography, or graphic design, submit artwork by April 30, 2021 for a chance to win the 2021 Pro-Life Wisconsin Art Contest!

Winning entries will receive the following:

- Their design featured on a prayer card
- 500 prayer cards for their church
- 3 tickets to 2022 March for Life Chicago
- 3 tickets to the 2021 PLW Love for Life Gala

One Grand Prize Winner will receive all the above and $100 cash.

PLW PROGRAM: NEVER A BURDEN

Pro-Life Wisconsin's Never a Burden program equips adults with educational resources to make informed decisions on medical options surrounding end of life and other medically vulnerable situations. Thousands of pro-lifers have been equipped with information to make informed decisions about their care because of the Never A Burden program. One of its highlights includes a complimentary Protective Power of Attorney for Healthcare document, which is available for download 24/7 here.

Medical and legal professionals have reviewed the PPAHC document prior to it being made available to the public. It empowers adults to appoint up to three individuals to access their medical treatment preferences. The Never a Burden program also features speakers who are available to provide a brief presentation on the PPAHC document and how to complete it. NEW MEXICO GOV MICHELLE GRISHAM SIGNS BILL TO LEGALIZE KILLING PEOPLE IN ASSISTED SUICIDES: (LifeNews.com) – “Another piece of anti-life legislation permitting the killing of innocent human beings is now law in New Mexico. On Thursday, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham signed a law to legalize assisted suicide, the Santa Fe New Mexican reports. Barely two months ago, she also signed a pro-abortion law that will keep abortions up to birth legal for years to come and could force doctors and nurses to help abort unborn babies. ‘Dignity in dying — making the clear-eyed choice to prevent suffering at the end of a terminal illness — is a self-evidently humane policy,’ Lujan Grisham said.” Read the full story here.

CARDINAL BURKE: PRO-ABORTION POLITICIANS ARE IN ‘APOSTASY,’ AUTOMATICALLY EXCOMMUNICATED: (LifeSiteNews) – “Raymond Cardinal Burke, the former Prefect of the Apostolic Signatura, has released a statement declaring that those who ‘publicly and obstinately violate the moral law’ are in a state of apostasy, automatically excommunicated, and thus must not be permitted to receive Holy Communion. GREEN BAY: Pro-Life Green Bay will host a Ladies for Life Tea Fundraiser on Saturday, May 8th at 1:00 p.m. at Life Bridge Christian Church (2496 Glendale Ave, Green Bay, WI 54313). LA CROSSE: We would like to see at least two people pray every day of the week outside Planned Parenthood. If you can commit to this weekly prayer, please let Marie Allen know.
