ASSEMBLY CONSTITUTION AND ETHICS COMMITTEE TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON BILLS PROHIBITING VACCINE DISCRIMINATION
The Assembly Committee on Constitution and Ethics will hold a public hearing on Assembly Bill(s) 299, 303, 309, 316, and 347 this Wednesday, June 2, at 10:00 a.m. in Room 417 North (GAR Hall) of the State Capitol. Pro-Life Wisconsin SUPPORTS:
- Assembly Bill (AB) 299, legislation prohibiting proof of vaccination for COVID-19 as a condition of receiving business and government services;
- Assembly Bill (AB) 303, legislation prohibiting businesses from discriminating against customers due to their vaccination record;
- Assembly Bill (AB)
309, legislation prohibiting discrimination on the basis of vaccination status;
- Assembly Bill (AB) 316, legislation prohibiting the government from discriminating against any person based on whether the person has received a vaccine against COVID-19;
- Assembly Bill (AB) 347, legislation prohibiting University of Wisconsin System institutions and technical colleges from requiring students or prospective students to be tested for, or vaccinated against, COVID-19.
Some of the bills apply generally to all vaccines and all epidemics, and some only to those associated with the 2019 novel coronavirus. We prefer the former. For example, AB 309 provides the most comprehensive protection against vaccine discrimination. But the remaining four bills are a good step in the right direction and will set a good precedent. Accordingly, we support passage of all five bills. The Personhood Alliance/Pro-Life Wisconsin vaccine ethics position 1) opposes the production and testing of vaccines using the remains of aborted human beings, and 2) opposes forced or coerced vaccination. Assembly Bill(s) 299, 303, 309, 316, and 347 reinforce our vaccine ethics position. For the many Wisconsinites who earnestly avoid any entanglement in the abortion industry, discriminating against them for refusing a vaccine produced from or tested using aborted fetal cells is repugnant – a total violation of conscience. Many pro-life Wisconsinites reject the use of the Pfizer, Moderna, and Janssen/Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines and would vehemently oppose any discriminatory coercion of their use. And whether a vaccine is ethically produced and tested, it is unethical, and highly offensive, for the state, a business, or any entity to discriminate against individuals who may strongly resist it for a variety of health, conscience, religious, or personal reasons. Vaccines can kill or severely harm people with auto-immune disorders, who may not even know they have
such disorders. The fact that vaccine injury and death is an acknowledged medical reality demands that a person’s choice to avoid the health risks for himself/herself be respected. We are entering a time of unprecedented coercion. COVID-19 testing is already required for international travel. Will COVID-19 vaccination soon be required to engage in daily activities of American life? Privileges for the vaccinated; punishments for the non-vaccinated? Coercion severely
undermines the public trust and tramples on our cherished rights, including our First Amendment right to freely exercise our religious beliefs, our Fourteenth Amendment guarantees of liberty, equal protection, and due process of law, and our Article 1, Section 18 Wisconsin constitutional guarantee of liberty of conscience. These bills protect our right to make our own health decisions, our right to follow our conscience, and our right to freely exchange in commerce. ACT NOW! With your help, Pro-Life Wisconsin will fight for passage of AB 299, AB 303, AB
309, AB 316, and AB 347. Again, the Assembly Constitution & Ethics Committee will hold a public hearing on all five bills this Wednesday, June 2, at 10:00 a.m. in Room 417 North (GAR Hall) of the State Capitol. Matt
Sande, Pro-Life Wisconsin Legislative Director, will testify in favor of all five bills.
- Please ATTEND the public hearing and testify or register in favor of AB 299, AB 303, AB 309, AB 316, & AB 347.
- If you are unable to attend the public hearing, please CALL or EMAIL your state representative TODAY and urge him/her to “Support AB 299, AB 303, AB 309, AB 316, & AB 347.” Tell them, “Vaccine discrimination is immoral, unconstitutional, and un-American!”
- Don’t know your state representative? Go to legis.wisconsin.gov and type in your
home address under “Who Are My Legislators” or call the Legislative Hotline: 1-800-362-9472.
Thank you and God bless you. Please make your pro-life voices heard in the Wisconsin Assembly!

JOIN US FOR THE PILL KILLS EVENT, ANNIVERSARY OF THE GRISWOLD V CONNECTICUT DECISION
Fifty-six years ago, the Griswold v. Connecticut U.S. Supreme Court ruling (June 7, 1965) legalized contraception and established a so-called “right to privacy" that paved the way for the Roe v Wade ruling a few years later. The purpose of our campaign is to draw attention to the dangers of the birth control pill
and the fact that it does indeed cause early chemical abortions.
The American Life League coined the event name, "The Pill Kills.” Many know that the pill can aid in preventing fertilization, but what is not commonly known is that it is also capable of killing a newly conceived child by making the lining of the uterus too thin for the embryo to implant inside the mother. In addition, many women have died as a result of using the pill. It is physically dangerous not only for the baby, but also for the mother.
The pill is deadly not only to babies but also to the morality of people and their understanding of the value of the human person. Easy access to birth control encourages riskier sexual behavior because of the blind belief that the contraceptive will protect against any unwanted outcomes, i.e. a child. When the contraceptive fails, abortion becomes the backup solution. The pill also plays a part in demeaning the human person as an object of pleasure while stripping the sexual union between a man and a woman of its inherent function of reproduction. This all promotes what we call the "contraceptive mentality".
Please join us throughout the state as we solemnly remember the Griswold v Connecticut decision. Events will be held at the following dates and times:
Saturday, June 5, 11:00 a.m. Planned Parenthood, West Allis (2239 South 108th Street West Allis, WI, 53227)
Sunday, June 6, 3:00 p.m. Health First, Mauston (522 Hwy. 82 East, Suite F - Midtown Mall Mauston, WI)
Monday, June 7, 4:00 p.m. Health First, Wasau (216 S 3rd Ave, Wausau, WI 54401)
Monday, June 7, 6:30 p.m.
Planned Parenthood, Madison (3706 Orin Rd, Madison, WI 53704)

PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN TESTIFIES ON BILLS THAT WOULD PROHIBIT UW EMPLOYEES FROM PERFORMING ABORTIONS AND IMPROVE WISCONSIN'S INDUCED ABORTION REPORT
On Wednesday, May 26, Pro-Life Wisconsin Legislative Director Matt Sande testified before the Senate Human Services, Children and Families Committee in support of Senate Bill(s) 260 and 261 authored by Sen. André Jacque.
Senate Bill 260 would prohibit both UW System
and UW Hospital & Clinics Authority employees from performing or assisting in the performance of abortions while in the scope of their employment. The bill effectively ends UW medical resident abortion training and UW faculty performance of abortions at the Madison Planned Parenthood abortion facility.
Senate Bill 261 would improve Wisconsin’s annual induced abortion report by requiring more comprehensive and scientifically accurate information about abortions in our state. The bill adds to the report the sex of the aborted preborn child, if it can be determined by a visual inspection, whether the preborn child had a fetal anomaly, and if so, the nature of the fetal anomaly. The bill also removes the anonymity of the facility in which the abortion was performed, while retaining anonymity for the patient and the abortionist. Please watch Matt’s public testimony on SB 260 and SB 261 on WisconsinEye HERE. Cynthia Jones-Nosacek, MD and James Linn, MD, president and vice-president of the Milwaukee Catholic Medical Guild, respectively, also testified in support of SB 260 along with Elizabeth Larson, MD of Our Lady of Hope Clinic, and a member of the Madison Guild of the Catholic Medical Association. Please read their testimony linked to their names above.
We thank Sen. Jacque for his strong leadership and for hearing these critical bills in his committee.

DOCTORS WANT TO EUTHANIZE PATIENTS TO HARVEST THEIR ORGANS: (LifeNews.com, by Wesley J. Smith, J.D.) – “In 1993, my first ever anti-euthanasia column warned in Newsweek that once euthanasia became accepted widely, it would be followed by organ harvesting ‘as a plum to society.’ By now, you know how that story goes. I was accused of alarmism, slippery-slope advocacy, conspiracy theories, etc., etc. And, as these kinds of stories nearly always end, it came to be — in Canada, Netherlands, and Belgium, with more likely to follow over time.” Read the full op-ed here.
